Special Events/ AV set up: The feature screening in theater 3 went smoothly but I never got word from any of the NewFest organizers that it was ending or had ended until after I left the booth around 830PM to see about the DJ setting up at Trees Lounge. Thankfully there was time between rounds so I was able to place the mics and stands back beneath the curtain in the time it took for the final short in theater 1 to conclude. 

The DJ did not need any assistance setting up but did make a comment about the wires showing (???) and being unsightly which I couldn't do anything about since the table cloth was already being used to cover the DJ case/table contraption and to cover the wires would mean covering the mixer/CDJs (priorities!!!)

As expected, the NewFest folks had the bright idea of wanting to tech the show playlist for the New Voices shorts program between rounds (which was in direct conflict with the intro in theater 3 and left us with roughly ten minutes to sort through it all) in addition to having me maneuver spotlights over the intro and Q&A slides, despite the positioning of these not having changed since the last time they were used the past few days. Desmond was on walkie and I went through the playlist while he and the NewFest people were down in the auditorium. Our techs were seemingly insufficient and one of the shorts ended up needing a volume bump on top of the one Alec already gave them. I had radioed MOD about a potential delayed start to the show. Jared was in the room with everyone and replied knowingly. We ended up beginning ten minutes behind schedule and thankfully there were no glitches with the playlist/automations so all went well (including the Q&A) 

**NOTE: I left the XLR for the additional wired mic coiled in booth 1 in case they request an additional mic for their next two shorts program Q&As in theater 1...also left the cable and mic in the A/V bin beneath the curtain in 1 and brought the wireless ones back up to charge**

Broke down the DJ gear and placed the CDJs and mixer in their respective cases. Brought these down to the booth behind 3/7. Cases can't be missed. Right by the door as soon as you open it + put the NH mixer back in the turntable case and slid it beneath the mezzanine steps behind the step and repeat wall with the tablecloth. Additional gear was put back in the A/V bin and/or brought up to 4/6.
