NPP Projection Close 11/2



To do this evening/ was completed: Both Bugonia print shows went smoothly tonight. Cleaned the projector, decks and rollers after each show.

Transferred The Gits DCP to LMS, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang to T2, Below The Clouds to T6.

Checked cue sheets at end of the night and saw that we still need to make a playlist for Blade tomorrow. Feature itself is already on T2 server.

Presentation Issues: Stepped in to T2 last round to see that the masking cue for Bugonia had not fired, so the film was presented pillarboxed. This was towards the end of the film so I didn't attempt to move the curtains. Didn't want to draw attention to it. When I looked at the playback tab in the IMS I didn't see "Bugonia Masking" attached to the black cue that precedes the feature, but that cue is on the macro controls page.

NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
