NPP Projection Report 12/8 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Heads up the Red Rocket print is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Tracking is in the asset doc.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Got the Dance Freak slide for Wednesday, added it to the playlist. FYI - the slide is 1.50:1 like the feature, so I have the masking going to 1.50 ("Bugonia Masking") for the intro and staying that way for the feature and Q&A.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Checked volume/credits on Life of Brian, playlist all set for tonight.

Set up director chairs and mics in T6 for the 2000 Meters Q&A tonight. This just got added today. Cue sheet also updated and their holding slide is in the playlist.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): The WB holiday drive (actually) came today. Ingested Elf and Polar Express to the LMS.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): There are some CRU drives which can get taken to the UPS dropoff tomorrow.

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Adjusted/set some masking stops in T2: 1.78 (using for Life of Brian tonight) was a little wide and there was no 1.37 stop saved on the motor.

Vacuumed under the T1 screen post-Spoons shows.

Cleaned the fan and filter on the Trees projector. Should prevent it from turning itself off, it was majorly dusty.

Working on labeling all mics/mixers/cables with colored tape, one color per theater (or Trees Lounge). It's fine to move things around as needed, but please make sure things make their way back to their original location. The color coding should help us keep track of everything. I'll update when this is all done.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there! Projection Admin 9/8 Lillian/Will

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. I went through all the pieces of content for the drag performance(s) and confirmed sound/adjusted a few levels for the music, some of which were way too loud. I double checked/techd the lighting cues and wrote the info into the event memo for easy access (not everything seems to be accurate on the sheet, which I will update on Wednesday).
