To do this evening/ was completed: Very soon we'll be establishing a few set responsibilities for each shift/day of the week. Though certain things should be done every day, like checking the cue sheets and schedule. The closer should check the next day's every night, unless there are multiple events in the evening in which case it can be done during admin for the next day. Lillian also will probably have more to add, she wasn't feeling well on her way out today. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: We went over trailers vs. no trailers for special events with intros during the cinema meeting. From now on as a rule of thumb we should have the 5 minutes of trailers, with lights down, before the intro. Certain events will have no trailers at all, which will be mentioned in the event memo. To do this evening/ was completed: Tech'd Barking Dogs with Cristina--all good to go. Built all special events playlists and scheduled the week in the TMS. Filled in the first four days of the new cue sheets--please double check my work. Reached out to Deluxe about Triangle of Sadness. We no longer have it on our servers, and it's not available in the portal. Was told by Deluxe that they're sending a request to the studio team to have the content re-linked to our server. Keep an eye out. Uploaded keys for A Christmas Story.  Ran reels 2-5 of The Wiz just to make sure the handmade countdown leader/frames were positioned correctly--all good to go. To do this evening/ was completed: In some fun news, Cristina has a bunch of 35mm trailers to handoff to us. We're thinking it might be good to run through these on 12/19. Once we get them, they can be built up with some clear/extra leader.  Presentation Issues: T2's third screening ( Violent Night ) did not start at the right time. NoBudge let out a bit late and cleaning took a bit of time so I advanced the playlist quite a bit, but I'm still curious as to why this didn't start on time. I did, in fact, put it back to 'schedule' instead of 'load,' though come to think of it I've had more luck by manually ejecting the old playlist before the new one is to load automatically and on schedule. Might just have to make sure we do this for T2 and the fickle others.  There didn't seem to be a shutdown cue in T1 today, so I added it in.  The third and last screening in T7 of White Noise was incorrectly labeled on the cue sheets with a ticketed showtime...

To do this evening/ was completed: Removed Elf content from TMS/T2. Tech'd Dead Zone and Barking Dogs Don't Bite in T1. To my ear Dead Zone is pretty quiet at 5.0, so I updated the playlist with a 7.0 cue when the feature starts. 6.0 volume for Barking Dogs. Both playlists were missing 4.0 volume cue for lights down, and the Villainous Christmas needs a 3.8 cue, as it's too loud at 4.0. Playlists have been updated. The lights up cue at the end of Barking Dogs comes while image (with credits) is still on screen. I've yet to update but I do have the black screen crawl timestamp if lights up is preferred then. Reached out to programming about return shipping for The Thing. They told me it will be picked up by DHL and to standby for confirmation, so the print is still resting in T1. To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Aisle lights in T1 were flickering consistently before first round. I tried turning them on and off-no change. We ended up running rounds with no aisle lights. Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Elf/KGO intro and screening went very smoothly--mics brought back to T2 afterward. The Thing 35mm also went very smoothly--at the end I could hear applause through the port glass, which I think is a good sign. Print was re-inspected after the screening and put back onto its shipping reels. Projectors cleaned before and after, inspection document updated. *I bumped the volume to 9.0/8.5 per Desmond's request. World Cup stream went smoothly--broke it down after the second game.
