To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Ran a loop before  The Odyssey  screenings in theater 4; both went well and the projector was cleaned/print was covered after the final show Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Alec brought over The Fan and Blind Fury prints from NWB this afternoon and we took them down to booth 1 Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Finished inspecting Blind Fury and added stills to the shared drive (this has a trailer for a feature called The Gods Must Be Crazy II attached to reel 1 so I have asked Cristina if she'd like us to run this as part of the show) Moved all the past months' inspection reports to their appropriate folders on Google Drive I placed what I thought were the 6 reels of First Strike on house reels but ended up finding five more in a box beside it that had gone overlooked; I spent the rest of the n...

Projection Admin 8/14

To do this evening/ was completed: Alec is coming over from WB with Blind Fury and The Fan since they were incorrectly delivered there. We will need to prioritize inspection of Blind Fury since this screens Monday! Handed out 2 listening devices for the matinee of Tony in T2. They're all the way at the top right corner where the walkers are. Show ends 6:30.  School screening in T1 went super well this morning.  Ran the screener of Never Dark for the programmers in T3.  Staff Screenings went off just fine.  Presentation Issues: No issues.  Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built all new first run playlists for the week of 8/21. Built half of the new SE shows, but we're waiting on some content for the others. Reached out to John for the film feast slide, which he's sorting out with Conrad this evening.  Reached out to Cristina for the other slides we need (Crash/Escape from LA) Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Bottle Rocket/Onda Nova all set for this weeken...

Projection Admin 8/13

To do this evening/ was completed: Private event all set for T1 tomorrow morning. (Spiderman) No Odyssey on 35mm today! Just Citizen Ruth. Lenses have been swapped, ran loops, all nice and bright. Should be a great show. Double checked the playlist.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Tech'd Camp Miasma (the volume of which I brought up in the playlists), Tony, Paw Patrol, End of Oak Street. All set.  Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Took a look at Onda Nova and adjusted the lens for 1.66 in T4.  Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for Ebenezer, more Coyote vs Acme posters, couple more that I've stored and labeled.  Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Film Feast 25min preshow. Ingested Trees Lounge to T1 &T2. Te Tech'd Trees Lounge today (which we are waiting on the slide for. I'll build the playlist once we have it.) To do this evening/ was completed: Odyssey 35mm went smoothly, as did Belly. That print is back on shipping reels, mic back in the booth. John Woods borrowed to RCA cables from 4/6 bin, said he'd bring them back soon. Projection Admin 8/12

To do this evening/ was completed: Staff Screenings are out on 7Shits, playlists built and scheduled on the LMS, blocked on the calendar. - L Lotta first runs opening up this week. We're all set. I hunted down the keys for Tony today, which we received shortly after. Bottle Rocket keys haven't opened up yet - I'll tech this Friday. Onda I'll take a look at tomorrow since work was goin' on in T4 today. - LH Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Changed the lenses and plates and ran loops for Belly. - LH Ran a loop in T4 and cleaned the projector. NPP Projection Close 8/11

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Double checked the  Heat Lightning  playlist and brought down mics and stands for the intro. The transition between the short film and feature was smooth and all change overs were seamless. Crowd was loving this one. The print shed a bit but it was nothing out of the ordinary for an older film. Mics and stands were brought back up and both projectors were cleaned/exhausts closed The Odyssey was very kindly readied by Alec this afternoon so starting the film was a breeze. I double checked everything before running the print and took note of the guide roller Jack had issues with the other night. While the guide roller is no longer stuck I did notice/hear the film flapping, for lack of a better word, against the abrasion it made when it was cutting into the plastic. Gently pulling the roller to the end of the metal shaft softens the noise since the film runs...
