Projection Mid/Close Lillian and Will

To do this evening/ was completed: This was a little bit of a chaotic shift, but we've handled it as best we could. Having two events immediately post 35mm is something we should maybe try to avoid next time, but both of them went well. We had an unexpected issue with losing power from all outlets in T4, which meant the masking did not execute for The Odyssey, final round. I gave Will trouble shooting notes whilst running the event in T4 since, unfortunately, this issue coincided with the Q&A. We're running an extension cable from the theater to the server station, but I've contacted Vlad to see how fast they can get in here. Update: Looks like we tripped a breaker. I finagled with the one in T4, tried a phone charger with  one of the outlets along the brick wall and it worked (despite the fact that that outlet is not secure and needs to be fixed). NPP Projection Report 8/2 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: None tonight, both Odyssey 35mm shows went well. Preshow Clips/Playlist: DarkRoom timing for tomorrow is all good and the cue sheets match the event memo, there was just a scheduling mistake for the last round in T3 which caused some confusion. Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Platter and projector are cleaned and ready to thread for tomorrow's Odyssey 35mm show. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: The dowser in 6 is working again. To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Double checked playlists and tech'd volume levels for Space Jam and Talladega Nights  feature content; both films played without issue First round of The Odyssey  in 35mm went smoothly and the print continues to look and sound fantastic Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Outgoing/Shipping (content): Removed  Space Jam and Talladega Nights  feature content from the LMS and theaters 3 and 4 after the brunch round + Space Jam DCP is sealed and can be returned this week Print/video Inspection: Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked all cues for tomorrow + noticed some potential overlap between the DarkRoom program and the subsequent round...a second set of eyes on this would be helpful in case the screening runs longer than anticipate...

Projection Close 8/1

To do this evening/ was completed: Odyssey on 35mm continues to run super well. Big, enthusiastic crowd! Platter is all set for tomorrow. Projector is cleaned, but give it a bit of a sweep in the morning for good measure!  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Went through the new A1 playlists. NPP Projection Report 8/1 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: First Odyssey 35mm of the day is off to a good start Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Finished inspecting Belly and uploaded some pictures to Google Drive. We should still be doing this as much as possible! It's been a while since any print pictures have been uploaded. -There's also a good stretch in reel 4 with some light discoloration, it's not extreme but appears as pinpoint red dots over the frame for about half of the reel. To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: The Odyssey screenings in theater 4 went smoothly and the print remains in fantastic shape + cleaned the platter/tree and projector before leaving for the night (I noticed the film was loosening around the digital sound head after threading up/running the motor, so remember to wind the film forward until its taut even after you've started the motor to get it to the countdown) Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Practical Magic 2  and additional Spider-Man: Brand New Day posters were delivered this evening and stored behind 3/7 Ordering/Receiving (content): Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Continued inspecting Belly in booth 1 Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked and updated accordingly Marquee updated?: Posters updated?: Cleaning lights on for the night?...

NPP Projection Report 7/31 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed: The Odyssey looks and sounds fairly fantastic in T4. First show went super well. This morning I did a big clean for the port glass, got old tape bits off and added two new pieces. Cleaned the platter and projector, but please remember to keep doing this in between rounds. Thanks!
