NPP Projection Close 8/24

To do this evening/ was completed: Finished inspecting New York New York. Built playlists for Dog Stars. Still waiting on Coyote feature. Scheduled upcoming week in LMS, excluding Coyote and SE shows. Bound went smoothly. Broke down all equipment afterward. Malice did comment about the mic being really hot during the show, it sounded fine to me when I got things ready. We only used the last ten minutes of the forty minute gap between shows to tech, so definitely something that could've been caught during tech had we gone through everything. Desmond brought down mixer volume during performance. Just thought I'd mention because there's another show coming up in a few weeks. Projection Admin 8/24

To do this evening/ was completed: Ran house checks. Over the weekend we had a brief complaint during what wound up being the trailers section (in T5) in which a patron said no sound was coming from one of the left side speakers, but I'm assuming it was a centre channel trailer. I went through the playlist that was running at the time, today, and everything sounded normal to me.  Looks like we've got no more Odyssey shows for the rest of the week, but I'm standing by until we receive the new film schedule. I haven't heard anything from Brad at Film Tech just yet.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Bound playlist all set.  Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Setup the PA - speakers all set, yamaha mixer, wireless mixer for Bound tonight. Few things - I DCP'd the Jennifer Tilly video and added it to the playlist, took out Vigor's performance since they can't make it. Event memo updated. NPP Projection Report 8/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Fargo went nicely. Cleaned T4 platter and projector, ran a loop and threaded Odyssey for the first show tonight. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Outgoing/Shipping (content): Fargo is packed up and on the cart. Pickup scheduled for tomorrow. Print/video Inspection: Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: I decided to leave the levels for the T1 35mm projectors as Roger set them the other day. P2 is turned all the way up, while P1 is lowered a bit to match, so it makes sense. Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Yes, I updated the 35mm and brunch sides. NPP Projection Report 8/22 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: 7.5 was super quiet for Fargo . I think after the adjustments Roger made yesterday, we'll have to crank volumes on prints pretty high until we get a new sound reader for P2. Played this at 10 on the 500 and 9.0 on the 750 today, would suggest doing the same for Crash . Other than the first couple minutes being pretty quiet, Fargo ran smoothly. Ran a loop, cleaned the platter and projector in T4. Threaded up Odyssey for 5pm. NPP Projection 8/20 Close + 8/21 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed: 8/20 Odyssey 35mm went smoothly. Cleaned projector after show. Trees Lounge T1 and T2 went smoothly, recorded the Q&A if anyone wants it. Mics back in booths. Removed old playlists/content, built 8/28 A1 playlists (excluding Coyote v. Acme and Dog Stars ). Tech'd Fargo and Crash with Cristina, volumes logged, good to go. Dear Mama download seemed to fail shortly after it was started. I tried to reinitiate it, which sent a new download code to Desmond but I didn't hear back about it in time. All to say we need to try to download again. Tech'd CatVideoFest and Is God Is. Because the maintenance with Roger took a while I wasn't able to look at Is God Is in T4, so I sent it to T3 and looked at it there. Looks and sounds good, lowered volume to 5.2. Ingested Your Mother x3 to LMS and T3. Inspected Escape from L.A. Good condition. On house reels.
