NPP Projection Open 6/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Updated the Chocolate Babies show playlist with the restored feature content and added timing for credits Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Double checked Stolen Kingdom in theater 3 prior to the first round...thought about adjusting the feature volume but the mix is too low at 4.0 and loud enough at 4.5 Ran loops in 1 for Strangers on a Train this morning. Ended up running the print with the curtains at 1.33 since the 1.37 cue kept reverting the masking back to 1.85. I have a feeling this has to do with changes made to the settings for Obsession since that film needed a custom preset but I could be wrong. For now I have updated the playlist to open the curtains to 1.33 but this can be better remedied tomorrow since the encore screening is not until 9:15PM. NPP Projection Report 6/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Spoons went well. I broke down all the equipment and put it away after. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Multiple attempts to download the 4K Chocolate Babies DCP from Dropbox via the browser failed so I just started a free trial so I could sync the video file with the Dropbox folder on the desktop. This is really the only reliable way to download large files from Dropbox, it seems. Everything else looks like it downloaded completely the first time, so once the video file is done syncing, copy it into the Share folder and we should be able to ingest this. To do this evening/ was completed: Fairly low-key day, we're in good shape for the week ahead.  New first run letters up on the marquee. Tech'd Heroes for Sale, volume logged. Inspected the first two reels of Butterfly Effect, excellent condition. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Continued building out the rest of this week's playlists, though we are still waiting on the 6/12 trailer list. To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Troop Beverly Hills  private screening went well. Returned the DVD to the hosts after the show and put back all gear used for the intro Got Spoons up and running quickly. Everything went smoothly. Mics are charging up in booth 1. The spotlight board, mic mixer, and HDMI cable are on the table beneath the tablecloth. The table is off to the side of the screen for this weekend. To do this evening/ was completed: As per Gil's request, I put up the Knicks/World Cup info on the marquee today, did the 35mm side, too. Added Now Showing at the top, too (not sure why this was down...) - L Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked image, volume and credits for Masters of the Universe and Scary Movie. All good to go - L Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Setup for Spoons this evening - yamaha, wireless mic mixer, aja, spotlight board. Tested everything. Please snag some mic stands. Also, everything was pretty messy when I first went to go setup. Even if it's late and you're sleepy, please try to put a little bit of effort into making sure things are neat.
