To do this evening/ was completed: The Odyssey on 35mm continues to run smoothly in T4. Matinee is almost finished.  Had our cinema meeting. We're just waiting on Citizen Ruth (John reached out for tracking) and I reached out for tracking for Heat Lightning early this morning, which we've received. Print should arrive tomorrow.  Presentation Issues: No issues. Masking/power running just fine in T4.  Preshow Clips/Playlist: Noticed today that the V2 Class of 96 trailer didn't mention Citizen Ruth being on 35mm, so Kat made a new one. I ingested this and updated all the playlists that need it.  Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: John Carter is all set for tonight! Just an intro from Desmond. Should be an easy show. To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Spider-Man 7/31 show playlists were missing a volume cue change following the 3.3 dip for the book advertisement/trailer; MOD radioed and I raised the volume and adjusted the playlists accordingly Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Finished setting up for trivia at Trees WTO/99 screening and Q&A went well; John Woods assisted with chairs and mics and had the panel wrap on schedule The Odyssey in 35mm played without issue; cleaned the projector and platter and covered the print after the show (notes below about damage to the platter brain) As I was cleaning up after the 35mm show in theater 4, I accidentally dropped the brain while moving between platters and, unfortunately, the column at its base beneath the rollers took on some damage that kept me from placing it back in its normal place at the center of the platter. HEADS UP: I decided not to schedule any of the R rated first run playlists for Thursday 8/13. All of the 8/7 R playlists have the Oak Street, Tony, and Miasma trailers, which all open early on the 13th, so we might as well just schedule next week's version of these playlists for this day. Everything else, besides the early opens on 13th and Heat Lightning , is scheduled. To do this evening/ was completed: This was a little bit of a chaotic shift, but we've handled it as best we could. Having two events immediately post 35mm is something we should maybe try to avoid next time, but both of them went well. We had an unexpected issue with losing power from all outlets in T4, which meant the masking did not execute for The Odyssey, final round. I gave Will trouble shooting notes whilst running the event in T4 since, unfortunately, this issue coincided with the Q&A. We're running an extension cable from the theater to the server station, but I've contacted Vlad to see how fast they can get in here. Update: Looks like we tripped a breaker. I finagled with the one in T4, tried a phone charger with  one of the outlets along the brick wall and it worked (despite the fact that that outlet is not secure and needs to be fixed). Preshow Clips/Playlist: DarkRoom timing for tomorrow is all good and the cue sheets match the event memo, there was just a scheduling mistake for the last round in T3 which caused some confusion.
