NPP Projection Close 3/26

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: At the start of the feature during the second round in theater 1 ( Project Hail Mary at 5:45PM) the masking began covering the screen instead of opening to its 2:1 setting. MODs called and I manually triggered the 2:1 cue, fortunately only a minute or so had passed, and the curtains moved to the correct position. I double checked the playlists and there were no missing or incorrect cues. It looked like the curtains had moved in over the image too, not even staying at 1.85 like during the pre show, but had changed to a narrower setting. This film plays in theater 2 next so I will keep an eye on it then to see if its masking is affected as well and update accordingly (update: no issue with the masking in theater 2) Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Ran loops in 1 for the  Swordfish  screening this evening + brought a chair and mic stand down and checked the spots in 7 for the private event ...

Projection Admin 3/26

To do this evening/ was completed: Ingested all of the Snowy Bing Bong Shorts and transferred them to T1 since we'll tech them with Cristina tomorrow. I also downloaded and ingested the new version of the short  Bent  for NSF26 so we can take a look at that tomorrow as well.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlists for The Drama Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Setup a mic and ran through the playlist for the private event tonight in T7.  Ran loops for Swordfish this evening. All set!  Received the keys for Stand By Me , which open up tomorrow!  Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested lots of new content today via both the Share folder and preshows/trailers drive since Kat was having a bit of a tough time with the folder. To do this evening/ was completed: Finished converting Bing Bong shorts to DCP. Did not ingest. Revelations and Mr. Nobody ingested to LMS. Downloaded BeGay and SuperMarioBros preshow pieces but all of them took a long time so I couldn't make a playlist for Stranger by the Lake. ( Made new folders: BeGay5min instead of PS_SE...). Do The Right Thing went well, mic back in the booth. NPP Projection Report 3/25 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed: Ingest Mr. Nobody Against Putin and Revelations of Divine Love . Convert Snowy Bing Bongs to DCP. Build and schedule the Stranger By The Lake  and Super Mario Galaxy playlists when their preshows are downloaded/ingested. For tomorrow/Friday: They Will Kill You has a 2.20:1 aspect ratio in the standard flat container. -Nothing we haven't dealt with before, but we're going to have to reset masking presets as we adjusted them for Undertone's 2.12:1 aspect ratio. -I think we should just set the 2.20 masking presets (and Variable Ratio in 3 and 7) back to the true 2.20 and present Undertone (which is probably close to leaving us anyway) in this masking, so there will be some black on the sides for the remaining  Undertone shows. -I already set the Variable Ratio preset to 2.20 in T3 since I put the They Will Kill You staff screening in there tomorrow. We should be getting The Drama through Deluxe tonight, which the cinema team will we watching in Theater 3 tomorrow morning. Please prioritize ingesting this when it comes through. We've been asked to put "No Kings" up on the marquee for another march on Saturday. We'll coordinate, just putting this on your radar.
