NPP Projection Close 7/24

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Wyatt radioed about the pre-show for The Odyssey in theater 3 sounding lower than normal, apparently this was an issue last week, so I checked the levels in the playlist and everything was cued to its usual volume. It sounded a bit hushed (at 3.5) inside the room, but my assumption is that the clips for this pre-show are mixed low, can't be too certain as there doesn't seem to be this issue in 1 when this pre-show runs ahead of the 35mm, but it did sound way too loud at 4.0 when I raised it Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Continued running The Odyssey in 35mm in theater 1 this evening. NPP Projection Admin 7/24

To do this evening/ was completed: Fire alarms going off this morning, some FDNY were here running tests. Reset all houses and tested lights, all good.  (Tested 35m, too! Just fyi - L)  Cleaned T1 35mm projector before first Odyssey. (Ran a loop!)  - L Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Deleted old forecasts and playlists, built all A1 7/31 playlists. Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up:  Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content):  Harriet The Spy, John Carter, The Fan slides ingested. Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Tech'd the DarkRoom Shorts playlist and Stir of Echoes print with Cristina, volumes logged, updated DarkRoom playlist. Two of the DarkRoom shorts have a 1.37 presentation, so we'll need to update the variable masking to accommodate. Tech'd Looper and adjusted the playlist. The print remains in great shape and looks and sounds mint. Cleaned and covered everything after the final show. Projection Admin 7/23

To do this evening/ was completed: Transferred all the Dark Room shorts to theatre three and built a tech playlist following the event memo Cristina sent. We'll take a look at all of these tomorrow, including Stir of Echoes! Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Continued building/teching playlists. Her Private Hell is all good to go for tomorrow! I took a look at the new PSA_Books and Droppings the other day and they're good for WB, but too soft for us.  Trailer Updates: Ingested new trailers.  Special Events/ AV set up: No special events tonight, but the platter is all good to go for this evening! NPP Projection Close 7/22

To do this evening/ was completed: Kegg here because for some reason, Blogger will not let me create a new post. No idea what that's about. But anyhow our one repertory event across both locations this week went smoothly.  Presentation Issues: No issues Preshow Clips/Playlist:  One of the directors of Josie and the Pussycats couldn't make it because their flight was cancelled. BUT! We got a short intro video which I was able to convert, tech, and get into the playlist before the doors opened. Trailer Updates: No issues Special Events/ AV set up: Josie and the Pussycats went great! NPP Projection Report 7/22 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed: Staff Screenings have been scheduled, blocked, playlists built and the info is out on 7shifts - L NOTE: I've told McKegg this, but we have two listening devices out in T1 right now, as well as a seat (near MOD office). Screws are on the table in 4/6. - L Had our cinema meeting and we're good on content (still up in the air as to whether or not we're getting a print of Camp Miasma, but it's looking like a 'no' at the moment.) - L Threaded up the platter for the Odyssey and started running the show. McKegg is in now and has been taken through the process for a proper shutdown. - L Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added the last NoBudge short to the playlists, though it still needs to be teched. Trailer Updates: Ingested the Class of 96 trailer and added it to the appropriate playlists Special Events/ AV set up: Chairs for Josie are all set as is the playlist. NPP Projection Close 7/21

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Heard a strange, high pitched noise, like a dog whistle, in theater 2 during the final round of the digital The Odyssey . I'm not sure if this is coming from one of the speakers or it was just my ears ringing from being in booth 1 all night but it might be worth running a house/content check tomorrow morning to see if it was anything Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled a show playlist for  Josie and the Pussycats but this will need a lights up cue added for credits/tech'd for volume. I added a placeholder slide for the pre-film Q&A with all the necessary cues but this can be changed if and when the custom slide is sent by the host Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Kept busy this evening with The Odyssey  print in theater 1.
