To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: The Odyssey screenings in theater 4 went smoothly and the print remains in fantastic shape + cleaned the platter/tree and projector before leaving for the night (I noticed the film was loosening around the digital sound head after threading up/running the motor, so remember to wind the film forward until its taut even after you've started the motor to get it to the countdown) Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Practical Magic 2  and additional Spider-Man: Brand New Day posters were delivered this evening and stored behind 3/7 Ordering/Receiving (content): Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Continued inspecting Belly in booth 1 Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked and updated accordingly Marquee updated?: Posters updated?: Cleaning lights on for the night?...

NPP Projection Report 7/31 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed: The Odyssey looks and sounds fairly fantastic in T4. First show went super well. This morning I did a big clean for the port glass, got old tape bits off and added two new pieces. Cleaned the platter and projector, but please remember to keep doing this in between rounds. Thanks! Same threading system. - L Presentation Issues: None.  Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built more SE playlists, got rid of old content.  - L Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: The Odyssey print is built on the T4 platter and the first show is off to a good start. To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built playlists for One Night Only and the rest of the run titles + built and scheduled an OCAP babies Spider-Man: Brand New Day  show playlist for the morning of 8/4 (we are still waiting on the pre-show for CatVideoFest so this is the only remaining first run playlist that needs to be built) Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Off the Rails private event in theater 3 played to a packed crowd and ran smoothly; brought the mixer back up to theater 4 (Chenelle may have also misplaced the spotlight remote for this auditorium. Projection Admin 7/30

To do this evening/ was completed: Happy (early) Birthday to Jack Keep an eye out for manual starts today! Broke down The Odyssey since we're screening it in T4 starting tomorrow, so (reels 3 and 2 are in their boxes) but the first reel is still on the make up table because the table's motor section was getting so stressed it started steaming/smoking a bit. Alec and I will be taking a look at this first thing in the morning. In addition to turning the table off, I unplugged it for good measure. We're gonna let it cool off this evening. There's only, essentially, the first five minutes of the feature left to put back on the reel, so hopefully tomorrow morning will be quick after it rests tonight.  Presentation Issues: Had a complaint about brightness in T2. I raised the brightness ever so slightly, but it's harder to make any real shift when we're open. It also looked good during the staff screening this morning. NPP Projection Close 7/29

To do this evening/ was completed: Stir of Echoes went smoothly. Equipment broken down afterward, print back on shipping reels. Odyssey shows went smoothly too, however MOD showed me an email from a guest who attended the 6pm show complaining about focus and strobing. I only looked at the 6pm show briefly but the image looked well-balanced to me. I forwarded the email to the projection account. Two manual starts tomorrow heads up. To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built WTO/99 and filled in the timing on the cue sheet, save for the Q&As end time as this is not on the event memo yet. The feature has been teched; it's entirely in 1.33 except the opening logo, so I put a masking cue after that. Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Set up a mic & stand for the Stir of Echoes intro tonight and ran loops for the film. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested One Night Only . Outgoing/Shipping (content): Deleted several features off the LMS and screen servers. Print/video Inspection: Looked at I Want Your Sex and updated the volume in the playlist. Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added the titles for August. To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: First round screening of The Odyssey  went smoothly; cleaned and covered everything once it ended and began setting up for Christine Connected two additional mics and brought out six chairs (thank you Rebecca for the assist) for the Christine  Q&A; Desmond's intro, the feature screening, and the star studded Q&A all went well save for the extra twenty minutes it ran over time + recorded the Q&A and added the files to the Shared Drive Wham! 10 Days in China played in theater 3 this evening without any issues Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): First Strike (presumably for next month's SOF; labeled "Jackie Chan: First Strike" on its boxes) was delivered this afternoon...brought the boxes up to booth 1 this evening Outgoing/Shipping (content): Gave the Christine DCP back to the director following th...
