NPP Projection Admin 7/22



To do this evening/ was completed: Another solo show from ol' Kegg here with loads to do in preparation for the coming week. 

Presentation Issues: No issues

Preshow Clips/Playlist: ZEISM, Heaven and Earth Magic & Sounder, Together, Boxing Raw and Uncut, and Jetsons playlists need to be built. 

Trailer Updates: No issues

Special Events/ AV set up: Swapped out the lenses in Theater 4 to 1.37 for Man in Possession

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): No issues

Ordering/Receiving (content): Desmond sent us the file for The Jetsons Movie. I started a DCP conversion onto George Ivan. 

We also got the Heaven and Earth DCP from John and the mov file for the short in front of it. I downloaded the short (SONDER_CREDITS) onto the desktop. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): I packed up Tango & Cash, it still needs labels

Print/video Inspection: Cristina came by to look at two full reels of Man in Possession, which are looking and sounding good. I would keep an eye out for focus.

I did a post-inspection on Tango & Cash.  

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes

Maintenance/cleaning: No issues

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Cue sheets for next week are set, though the only things that need to be filled in are the John events (ZEISM and Heaven and Earth Magic & Sounder). 

Automation for next week is set except for ZEISM, Heaven and Earth Magic & Sounder, Together, Boxing Raw and Uncut, and Jetsons playlists need to be scheduled. 

Marquee updated?: No issues

Posters updated?: No issues

Cleaning lights on for the night?: No issues

Projection cart by entrance?: Yes

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Admin (Lillian/Will) 7/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Leon Chase for Hank's Saloon came by to tech his film today. He's super happy with the outcome of his DCP and is really, really excited about the screening.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Buena Vista Social Club is just about sorted for this evening -the hosts did not respond to our request for a good quality video of the Tony Awards performance that we could download, so I found it on YouTube and let them know. I made a DCP, which will likely sound good between 3.5 - 4.5, but we'll have 15min to tech it before we open doors for the show!  Superman playlists built - I swapped out the atmos file that was first ingested and got the regular 7.1 in there!
