Projection Report 2/20


Presentation Issues: Not an issue per se, but the Lego Movie 2 playlist showed up light blue instead of green in the scheduler, apparently this means that the show is playing as scheduled but will end late, it only did this for the first two rounds though

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I noticed that lights were not coming up at the beginning of credits for Alita and Lego Movie 2 (possibly others). This must be because there are separate credit and crawl start times included with the drives. I think that in cases which there is no post-credit scene (I think Aquaman is the only one like that we've had to deal with?) we should use the credit start time for the lighting cue since people tend to leave then anyway, and it would make it easier for servers in busy shows with short flip times.

Trailer Updates: Trailer list was sent out this morning but we're still waiting on DCPs for house-made trailers/pre-show, they'll be ready tomorrow. Ingested the Apollo 11 trailer to TMS

Ordering/Receiving (content): Roma DCP ingested. Deluxe said Candyman is scheduled for delivery by FedEx on Friday, wrote down the tracking # and it's in booth 4/6

**all features currently on TMS should be on the necessary servers for next week by tomorrow. I also deleted all other features that will not be playing from each server.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Was going to QC Fighting with My Family but the KDM doesn't open until tomorrow.

Distro Doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: The fluorescents issue in T6 came back before the last round, much to Sam's and my surprise!

Cue sheets updated (only if needed): Scheduled shows through the weekend (save for playlists of Fighting w/ Family and Roma)

Showtime boards & recording updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night? : yes

Additional Notes: Updated KDMs for all titles that needed them except Vice (waiting on these, apparently the holdover still needs to be approved?).

**TMS's clock is now two minutes slow, as opposed to two minutes fast

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
