Projection report 2/23 daytime (Dyl P.)



Presentation Issues: It seems that some of the automation cues in the 'start of show' pack are not clicking on. For both Alita and Vice, which had successful scheduled starts, I spotted the preshows running in scope — both masking and image file on the projector — which in addition to just being wrong made our in-house content look awkward. I tried to keep an eye on this throughout the day and catch it where I could, but, with so many screens to watch, it might be a good idea to just manually hit the flat masking and projector cues at the start of each show again just to make sure our preshow content is running correctly.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: the SPL for Fighting With My Family (including preshow) had not been loaded to screen 3. I sent it over when I first came in — no problems.

** Fighting With My Family playlist also did not include scope masking/lens cues. I added these in.

Ordering/Receiving (content): It would appear that Candyman failed to ingest to TMS (there was an unreadable file in the TMS that I could not add to a playlist or send to another server). It would also appear that TMS rebooted itself overnight. I deleted the dead Candyman file from TMS.
... unfortunately I only noticed this towards the end of my shift. I have struggled to get the Candyman DCP drive to reload onto TMS via both CRU ports and a boot. I have sent an e-mail about this problem — and apologies to Alec, who has now inherited this situation.

    I made some adjustments to the start of show pack that hopefully will fix those issues. Will keep an eye out today.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
