Projection report 3/22 (admin)



Presentation Issues: Not a presentation issue per se, but while updating the marquee a letter fell down and knocked me hard in the head, which left me feeling pretty sick. Leaving early to get it looked at.

** the TMS was acting funky again. Would not load the CPL of Us for the staff screening, and then froze in the browser, preventing me from doing anything in the TMS window. I gave it a reboot. This seemed to fix it.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I did not have a chance to put the Jawbreaker doc on screen today, but Michael told me he will get around to it and touch base with John

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: staff screening of Us in theater 2. Ran without a problem.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Michael brought over a portable drive with some new in house content and (possibly?) the In Bruges DCP. The contents are ingesting to TMS right now. (he also returned the In Bruges blu ray)

Outgoing/Shipping (content): carried some of the outgoing DCPs over to the UPS drop

Print/video Inspection:

Maintenance/cleaning: Began updating the posters. For outside, I put the 'Now Playing' snipe on the right side Us, and swapped Greta with a second Us poster. Her Smell had been placed in its case backwards, so, I removed it and switched it to the correct side. Unfortunately, a bike was locked up right below the outside Aftermath poster, so I could not put my ladder anywhere to reach the top case and put in a 'Now Playing' snipe. This will need to be done today.
     However, I did add a 'Now Playing' snipe to the lobby Aftermath poster.

Cue sheets updated (only if needed):

Showtime boards & recording updated?: Began updating the front marquee. Took down the old titles — The Favourite, Green Book, Bohemian, Isn't It Romantic, Greta, and A Star Is Born — and put up Us. I left before I could add The Aftermath, though — Michael should be able to get it on there before we open doors.
      I also removed "Us / Opens Thurs 3-21" from the north side marquee. Please put up Matthew's suggestion for the new text sometime tonight or over the weekend (see his schedule email).

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Cleaning lights were off in a couple of the theaters when I came in, so I just turned them on everywhere via the Macro

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
