Projection report *Mid Shift - Feel better Dylan!*

Presentation Issues: None

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Ingested 10 and 15 minute slides for this weekend that Kris sent over.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: I got some new cabling in for the PA, so I set it up in TH1 in anticipation of STB tomorrow morning and made sure everything was working. The busted speaker stand will work, you just have to use the pin to hold the pole up high enough. The whole shebang is behind the masking on stage right (mics, cables, etc.), except for the lighting controller and the HDMI box. The lighting control is set up with the following presets:

1 - wash with spots on stage right
2 - wash with spots on center
3 - wash with spots on stage left
4/5 - full wash, no spots
8 - Billy's party lights

Hopefully that'll be enough for them, at least for tomorrow. I may swing by in the morning to help program some others (too damn complicated to write it all down here) and make sure they're happy.

I didn't get to test the Aja HDMI box, but see "additional notes" below if you're struggling to get something on screen tomorrow. Obviously, the HDMI in the rack in booth 1 needs to be hot-swapped from the blu ray player to the Aja box. I put some longer ethernet cables in the bin with the PA stuff if they need to move it further stage right.

Please let's return all that stuff to the closet in Hi-res after the event, and moving forward, until we find a better place. Better to have everything consolidated there, just makes it easier to access in case an event pops up.

Additional Notes: I think the some of the problems we've been having with seeing Bluray on screen may have something to do with the macros... I was testing Don't Break Down in theater 2, and the macro that's stored on the TMS neither triggers the correct channel on the Christie, nor does it change the input on the IMS (from "internal" to "HDMI").

So, to get this to work as is, On the Christie touchpanel, you must select "HD 178 16X9" or "Flat ZOOM" or "Scope ZOOM," then, you must go into the IMS software (not the TMS), and go to Control>Device Controllor, then click on IMS (the only element in the list), then switch input from "internal" to "HDMI."

I'm not sure if it's the same in TH2, where we were also having problems, but this might be the fix. I'll see if there's a way to automate this - we can at least get the TMS macro execution to select the right channel on the Christie easily enough, but I'm not sure how to trigger the input change in the IMS. Will consult DMS early next week.
