Projection report 5/21 (night)



Presentation Issues: the final round of Pikachu in theater 7 didn't auto-start. Alexis and co. caught it before lights down time though, and I manually started the preshow and timed it out to the right place. My apologies for not catching this earlier.

** we are also missing all of the marquee letter H's. I sent an e-mail about this. Where are these letters?

Preshow Clips/Playlist: built A1_ALADDIN, scheduled shows for Thursday. (Still waiting on the Booksmart preshow to pop up on Dropbox for the weekend)

Trailer Updates: made a "Trailer_AllAges_Aladdin" trailer pack for playlist building purposes — this pack can just become the default All Ages pack for the week as it has all the updated for our all ages shows.

Special Events/ AV set up: INSTRUMENT night two.

** FINAL GIRLS BERLIN. This was a scheduled show, no guest or intro/q&a. Seems to have run without a problem.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): downloaded the Lion King trailer from Trailmix

** received and ingested new KDMs for Long Shot

Outgoing/Shipping (content): I packed up a few old Trailmix drives to be carried over to UPS tomorrow. They are on the projection cart.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Updated end times for Aladdin on Thursday

Marquee updated?: Removed all text from the north side. Replaced with "Squid And The Whale 5/22" and "Spoons Toons & Booze / This Weekend" (except for the letter H)

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yep

Projection cart by TH5?: Yep

Nest: TRIVIA! I set up all the stuff, Wendy & Kevin ran the show. Great as always. Mics and cables have been returned to booth 4/6.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
