Projection Blog 6/30 (close)



Presentation Issues: TMS in 4/6 froze at 5:29 and remained frozen throughout the night. This didn't affect playback, but I loaded every show manually to be safe. It was fine in the other booths. I tried refreshing everything, with no luck. Finally, I simply logged out of TMS in 4/6, which fixed the problem.

*** I think the computer froze because I was trying to unzip PS_NPP_Generic_v3_40min, but kept getting an error message.

Print/video Inspection: I QC'd Spider-Man. I had some issues ingesting the KDM in 4/6 (I think related to the TMS freeze), so I copied the KDM to a drive and ingested it in Theater 1 instead.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked.

Marquee updated?: Took down Do the Right Thing and put up Jaws: 7/4

Additional Notes: I practiced threading some more 35mm in Theater 1 after the last show got out.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
