Projection Report 6/20 Close



Presentation Issues: None

Preshow Clips/Playlist: All A1 playlists are updated and have been scheduled for next week.

Trailer Updates: Trailer assignments this week are somewhat in flux. I'm going to manage the content as it comes in so that preshows are as close to 30 minutes and lights down trailers are as close to 10 minutes as possible. This means there may be some very slight cue sheet updates throughout the week.

Special Events/ AV set up: Ran the Brownsville Born premiere in TH1. They needed 4 mics for the Q+A and not much else. Went great! All the equipment is back in 4/6.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a poster for Stuber, which I've never heard of...

Ordering/Receiving (content): None

Outgoing/Shipping (content): FedEx picked up Pasolini and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Print/video Inspection: None unless you count the Toy Story 4 staff screening!

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes

Maintenance/cleaning: Please keep an eye on the condensation coming from the A/C unit in Booth 2!

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Cue sheets for this coming week are finished and have been reviewed with Mascha.

Marquee updated?: Michael added the bar advert and Brownsville Born this morning. I'll remove Brownsville, put back what was on the north side, and add the marquee poem (if we have enough letters) between now and opening tomorrow.

Posters updated?: Yes.

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projectors off for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by TH5?: Yes

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
