Projection Report 7/18 Open



Presentation Issues: None

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I built and scheduled playlists for SE_BillTedsExcAdv, SE_RiversEdge, and SE_LionKing_072519 (for the private event in TH6). The only ones left to be built are Matrix: Reloaded and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, neither of which has arrived yet.

Trailer Updates: All trailer packs are updated and go into effect tomorrow.

Special Events/ AV set up: I tested the preshow playlist for Mr. Goodbar tonight. It has all the cues for the intro built in. There's also a DCP cooking that we're going to have on hand as a backup. Also sent playlists for Bill and Ted, River's Edge, and the private The Lion King screening to their respective screens.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): None

Ordering/Receiving (content): We received our DCP of River's Edge. I ingested it to the TMS and sent it to TH1 for this Tuesday.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): There's a bunch of DCPs waiting on the outgoing shelf, if anyone has time to drop them off at UPS tomorrow.

Print/video Inspection: None

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes.

Maintenance/cleaning: None

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Cue sheets for the coming week are finished. The only thing missing is credit times for The Matrix: Reloaded and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I will update those as soon as they arrive.

Marquee updated?: Took down The Matrix from the north side. Didn't get a chance to put up an advert for Bill and Ted though. Please put that up as well as "The Lion King" on the front of the marquee.

Posters updated?: Switched the snipe above The Lion King to say "Now Playing." I also switched Late Night for The Nightingale. Please put up Sword of Trust tomorrow and take down Rocketman and Secret Life of Pets 2.

Cleaning lights on for the night?: N/a

Projectors off for the night?: N/a

Projection cart by TH5?: Back in 3/7

Nest: Just the usual! Casual afterparty for Mr. Goodbar.

Additional Notes: We're still waiting on new keys for Booksmart! Cinevizion has assured us that they will be issued soon. Please keep an eye out and ingest them once they arrive.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
