Projection Report 8/6 Admin



Presentation Issues: No issues

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built SE_WetHot for this weekend, as well as A1_TheKitchen and all of the updated A1 playlists for the coming week. Just waiting on the Vimeo shorts and then we'll have everything in for next week.

Trailer Updates: The latest trailer assignments are in. All content from Dropbox has been downloaded and the new trailer packs have been built.

Special Events/ AV set up: Just trivia in Hi-Res

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ingested the latest Downton Abbey trailer from TrailMix for the new trailer packs.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Never Fear is arriving via Kino Lorber tomorrow.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Sent back West Side Story, the bad DCP of Yesterday, and an old TrailMix.

Print/video Inspection: None. Best Little Whorehouse in Texas activates tomorrow at 8 am.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes. Updated the entry for Never Fear.

 Maintenance/cleaning: None

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Cue sheets for next week are ready for review.

Also, I heard over the walkie that the "cue sheets are wrong" because I listed the 530PM screening of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood in Theater 2 as the all ages screening. That is what I was instructed to do in Matthew's film schedule e-mail for this week: "All ages show is Lion King first show each day and Hollywood matinee in Th 2 on Tue 8/6." Filmbot, however, does list the 4PM screening as the All Ages program. Not sure if Filmbot is wrong or if there was a schedule change that I wasn't made aware of.

Marquee updated?: No updates until tomorrow.

Posters updated?: No updates until The Kitchen poster arrives.

Cleaning lights on for the night?: n/a

Projectors off for the night?: n/a

Projection cart by TH5?: back in 3/7

Nest: Trivia tonight! The usual set-up (projector screen, microphone) and poster giveaway.

Additional Notes: Updated keys for Lion King. Also posted the schedule for this week. The rest of August should be posted later this week.

Also there were two boxes of audio equipment left on the stage in Theater 2. I put them behind the curtain there.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
