Projection Report 10/10 Admin


Presentation Issues: None in the first round.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added "PSA_AllAges" to our all ages playlists for the coming week. This takes the place of our usual no talking PSAs and evens out the timing between regular and all ages playlists.

-Loading the updated NSF 2019 trailer from EVO to the iMac, still waiting on the updated Vincent Price Trailer to show up.

-Updated/built the schedule for Friday 10/11-Tuesday 10/15.

Ordering/Receiving (content): The Craft has arrived. I ingested the feature to TMS and sent it to screen 1. Keys open tomorrow at 6pm.

Print/video Inspection: I took a look at reel 3 of Over the Edge to assess if there was any significant damage from last night. The only thing I noticed was some vertical base scratches, which on screen would appear on the right side of the frame, at the point where the film started sliding off the bottom rollers. No tears or grease deposits, there were some dusty spots that I gently cleaned with just a Kimtech wipe. I wrote all this down on the inspection form as well.

-Teched Addams Family in Theater 6. The playlist is good to go.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked again for today, all set. Updated cue sheets for everyday next week for the timing changes.

Marquee updated?: Added Gemini Man to the front of the marquee.

Posters updated?: Put a "now showing" tag above Gemini Man.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
