Projection Report 10/20 Brunch


I'm going to start with additional notes so it isn't missed :-)
Additional Notes: I've noticed that some of us are forgetting to email the blogs out after publishing, blogger is still down so please remember to do this. On that note, everyone please read Daniel's blog from 10/19 close. There are important notes regarding what to do after you are trying to restart from a fire alarm. Daniel, thank you for your thorough notes that you left on the desktop. These are so helpful and will be incorporated into the Projection Manual. Also, everyone please read the doc on the projection mac desktop that is called "fire alarm instructions".  If you have questions after reading it, please ask!

Presentation Issues: No presentation issues

Preshow Clips/Playlist: n/a

Special Events/ AV set up: BHFF 1BR ran great. They did change things up from the event memo for the intro AND the Q&A so make sure you are checking in with Liz before the start of every show. Everything has been returned to booth 2 and the Q&A file has been uploaded to EVO. Note: they decided at the last minute to start the Q&A over the credits so I only got to start the recording right after I got them on stage with mics (so maybe 1 min into the Q&A). Also, I knew I had about 10 minutes of recording after the q&a ended so I trimmed the video before sending it over to EVO, in the spirit of speeding up the transfer.

Marriage Proposal Marquee, letters were up by 1:30 pm (I had to custom make the elipses and tend to BHFF in the midst of it), picture sent to Deanna for approval, neon was turned on at 3 pm.
Alec, can you please put up BHFF again this evening and take down the proposal? All of the letters are stacked in order on the work table in booth 3/7. If you don't get around to it, or it doesn't stop raining then I can do it in the morning.

The lobby seating alcove was full every time I passed by today so the 6' table is still tucked against the wall, Alec could you bring that back to TH1 for me?

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): We got three new posters in at some point (probably yesterday): Everybody's Everything, Spies in Disguise, & King's Man

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
