NPP Projection Report 11/15 Admin, Alec


Presentation Issues: No issues.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added some preshow content to the NSF closing night playlist and looked at it in the theater. All cues, shorts, slides, bumpers, etc. are looking good.

- Built and scheduled Die Hard.

-Built the Frozen 2 playlist, however we are still waiting on preshow so that is missing from the playlist at this point.

Trailer Updates: Made an all ages trailer pack for Thursday 11/21

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Drives for Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and Frozen 2 came, both features have been ingested.

-John is bringing the new drive of The Lighthouse (with the short film in front of the feature) tonight. Dylan, can you make a new playlist with this version and schedule it starting tomorrow?

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Marriage Story has been picked up.

Print/video Inspection: Teched All That Heaven Allows in Theater 2. Looks and sounds great. I made a new screen file for this film in the 16x9 projector channel, its called "175." I also brought in the masking a tiny bit, overriding the 1.78 preset.

-Teched Depeche Mode in Theater 1. Should be all set. I added the Music Driven slide with cues for the microphone, volume, and a server pause for the intro.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated for tech checks and new arrivals.

Maintenance/cleaning: Made trailer reels to test projectors 1 and 2 in theater 1 for scratching. Karen and I are planning to run these both throughout our shifts and screen them after running them five times to check for scratches. Anyone is welcome to run these, just keep up with the tally that's taped to each lamphouse, and make sure you don't mix up the reels between projectors. The projector number each reel should go through is labeled on the heads.

- I ingested the new TMS license and rebooted the system. This new license activates on 11/30 (11:49am), but our current one closes on the 29th at midnight, so as it is now there is about a day and a half in which our TMS won't be licensed. Is this ok or will we need to ingest a temporary one, or something??

-There were electricians in 4/6 today installing tracking lights above the 35mm projectors. It looks terrific!

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Today's sheet is all set and printed. Dylan if you schedule the new version of Lighthouse, be sure to update the cues for that film.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
