Presentation Issues:
Little Women 35mm went very well. The print continues to look beautiful.

When I came in and chatted with Erin about her day she mentioned getting a call for a masking cue not firing. We figured out that it had to do with Dan's (from DMS) work on the masking.
We did some practical trouble shooting in between shows in TH4 and discovered that I had no TMS macro control over masking in TH 1, 4 & 6 and the cues were not firing within the playlists, but I did have control in the IMS.

I tried to stay ahead of the manual masking changes in the upcoming shows but missed TH2 since I didn't even know he had gone in there. Servers had to radio me during the scope trailers since the masking was still on flat. I changed all the masking cues on each local server to match the renamed cues that Dan had made in TH 1,2,4,6 so at least we would have automation in the playlists. Once that was accomplished, I finished building the new macros in houses 3,5,7 to match Dan's naming convention and to enable these macros to show up on the TMS (the TMS macro will show up on the screen in the main rack but never in the Dolby TMS itself unless the cues are built in all the houses - would be nice if DMS actually knew this) and then I rebuilt all the macros in the TMS and programmed the appropriate GPO automation. Long story short, everything works again, I fixed both automation and manual trigger cues. There are about 900 different masking cues in the TMS now (which I will clean up tomorrow) BUT all of them work in all the houses as manual macro commands and ALL playlists fire ALL masking cues in ALL houses. However, I need to do more work here as well, changing the playlists in the local servers in houses 3,5,7 tomorrow as well as swapping out the cues on the TMS multiplex, so DO NOT build any new playlists tomorrow morning (we don't need to build any playlists, but still) until I can clean up Dan's "digital mess" and streamline our redundant masking cues.
For opening tomorrow: everything works fine, you can expect to project as normal.

**I will tackle making these mysterious "film" masking cues work as well now that I know what DMS considers is a "job completed".

Maintenance/cleaning:
In my normal pre show cleaning of the platter rollers, I got a lot of dirt and grim on the wipes, just a testament to cleaning every thing that touches the film path before every show or at least at the start of the day. Also, I taped or re-taped some of the rough spots on the platter roller.
I added some lubricant to the lateral guides in the trap.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):
Honestly, I didn't do anything but clean up DMS's slipshod, half-done work and get our masking automation back and run the 35mm/service the projector. Erin, please glance over the scheduler and cue sheet for tomorrow when you get in.
