Special Events/ AV set up: Karaoke in Hi-Res. Karen and Michael set up and teched this today so all I had to do was plug in, turn on, and then break down at the end. The evening went very well. Thanks Karen and Michael!

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Lost Girls posters came in.

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added tracking for Brokeback as well as some pending DCP deliveries.

Maintenance/cleaning: I ran the test loop with the scope lens on P2, TH1 and I was able to get the focus even so it seems like this new piece helped quite a bit. Will take a closer look at it using an actual print with Karen on Wednesday.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in all movie titles and ticketed showtimes for next week.

Marquee updated?: Took down The Hunger and Karaoke and put up Premature and Come to Daddy.

Posters updated?: Swapped the Once Were Brother poster outside for Emma

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projectors off for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by TH5?: Yes

Additional Notes: I did some threading practice on the Simplexes in TH6. Getting used to them but there's something strange where every time I start the motor the film gets loose around the soundhead before the tension roller below pulls it taut again. Is this possibly a mistake in my threading?

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
