-Walked back two drives to UPS, I believe they were Knives Out (RIP to a real one) and a TrailMix.

Print/video Inspection:
-Not a proper teching but I tried to linger in big houses with large crowds with the pre-show set to 3.2. I wish I had a clear preference here, but to be perfectly honest I think any quieter clip (like the one from A New Leaf  in the generic representation PS) was too quiet and any clip with music/yelling was just fine. Maybe this issue (if it really is an issue) is best addressed in the actual sound mix of our content?

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:
-Scoured around for info on deluxe but nothing new.

Maintenance/cleaning:
-Swept out the 4/6 stairwell.

-Resisted the temptation to lay my young hands on the Freeway reels.

-As we all know I have alot of down time on these weekend/weekend adjacent shifts so if I could get some more in-depth training (lens swaps, moving film to cores, supervised inspection runs etc) on our 35mm friends soon I could put some of that time towards getting us ready to run prints regularly. Know it's a slow month on that front, just reminding folks I am happy to get here a little early so long as I know for sure I am not getting in the way of valuable admin work. Working my way through those manuals!

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
