3/5 ADMIN/OPEN, Karen

To do this evening/ was completed:
-Start cue sheets for the 3/06 cinema week
-Lots to tech tonight! Sent Onward and Wendy to TH2, Once Were Brothers to TH5. Don't forget to check additional audio/ visual impairment tracks and to update Thursday's cue sheets. All keys open at midnight.
-Once Wendy preshows are done downloading, send them to TH2 so you can start to take a look at them tonight. If you don't get all the way through them, note where you stopped. If there is a clip that has a lot of music or seems loud, you can adjust the volume as needed.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist:
-Made all playlist packs for the upcoming cinema week and all A1 playlists
-Made the 030520 Onward playlist, since it's a generic preshow and scheduled it for its screening in TH1 on Thursday.
-Started downloading Wendy 40/20/10 preshows from EVO
-Building the playlists the way it has been laid out in the trailer list for this week, All Ages pre shows will be +1, and that is with me taking out "Striking" (which only has Secret Garden as a family movie) Just be aware when we have a tight turn around <3 min, it might actually be a manual start.

Trailer Updates:
- Ingested trailers: The Hunt, St. Maud, checked Black Widow, all are good to play at 4.5

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):
-St. Maud posters came in

Ordering/Receiving (content):
- Ingested Once Were Brothers feature
-Heads up, I am downloading Where Does a Body End onto the external drive plugged into the mac. It says it's going to take 2 days...(sigh)

Outgoing/Shipping (content):
- I think the big box went out? It was by the elevator this morning and now it's not.

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:
yes and yes

Maintenance/cleaning:
-Made 5.3 and 6.3 volume macros for the TMS
- TH 3 & 7 have the following programmed masking stops (and corresponding TMS macros):
2.39 - button 1(on the actual motor)
1.85 - button 2
1.78 - button 3
1.66 - buttons 2&3
1.33 (4:3)- buttons 1&2
*Once we get Lost Girls in (so we have something to check it against)
we can program 2:1 - buttons 1&3 (for downstairs theaters)
**I went ahead and also made 2:1 masking macros for TH 3,5,7
- Because I had to take into account our film stops TH 1, 2, 4, 6 have separate macros in the TMS called:
masking FLAT 166 (upstairs) -buttons 2&4 and
masking FLAT 2:1 (upstairs) - buttons 3&4 macros
*but I have not set those stops within the individual masking motors yet. I'll do that tomorrow for at least 1.66

All button assignments for each TH will eventually go in the manual under "programming masking stops" so don't panic about this, for now I have written a comprehensive list in the notes on the projection mac titled "Masking Stop Button Assignments"

I read over Alec's Lens Channel set-up instructions and they look great! The only things I would add are: once you have all those setting Alec laid out, press activate to call up your channel onscreen. Then, when you have made all your custom adjustments, save your new screen, source, and ILS files as a different name.  Or you will overwrite whatever screen, source, and ILS file you started with.
You can always send your new channel to the preferred channels screen. Alec, do you want to do a part 2: making the corresponding macro? We should make a "deep cuts" manual for things like this ;-)

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):
-Made Thursday's schedule update in the cue sheets

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?:
-As per updated Thursday movie schedule, new poster assignments have been written on the whiteboard above the projection Mac (For WED night)

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projectors off for the night?:
