NPP Projection Report 9/10



To do this evening/ was completed: Ingest both DCPs for the Beyond event on Wednesday from the DCPII drive and send both to Theater 1 to be teched on Monday.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built/scheduled the Language Lessons playlist.

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received another Eyes of Tammy Faye poster

Ordering/Receiving (content): The DCP we received for the Beyond event didn't contain the full documentary, so the host brought over the file of the full thing along with the concert footage for the screening. Both are being made into DCPs.

Received the drive for Cry Macho, we'll wait to ingest this until Fellowship can be deleted.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched Langauge Lessons, playlist is all set.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, tracking for Tammy Faye added and info for Language Lessons.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, timing also updated for all Language Lessons shows.

Marquee updated?: Took down the film shoot text and put up Fellowship of the Ring Tues 9/14 and What Awaits Us: A Beyond Story Wed 9/15 on the north facing side.

Posters updated?: Took down film shoot posters and put up Dear Evan Hansen, No Time to Die, Venom 2, and Last Night in Soho.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
