NPP Projection Report 9/16

To do this evening/ was completed: After the last round starts take Free Guy down from the front of the marquee and put up Cry Macho and Blue Bayou. Letters are on the lower shelf in 3/7. Also put a now showing snipe above the Cry Macho poster and replace the Free Guy poster with Blue Bayou.

Manual starts in theater 1 and 2.

Check on the house lights down cue in Theater 7.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Ingested the new NPP Forecast trailer and added it to first run playlists.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Checked on the sound connection from the Shure microphone mixer on the Booth 1 rack to the camera. It works the way we had it set up, that is with the XLR cable that connects to the back of the rack, the double female XLR adapter, and the XLR to 1/8" cable, but the 1/8" has to be plugged into the input labeled "MIC" on the camera, was it plugged into the headphone jack last night?

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Got posters in for Blue Bayou and Venom 2 with the updated release date.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Tracking is available for Boyz N the Hood, drive should be here tomorrow along with Dear Evan Hansen.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Three drives ready to be picked up by UPS.

Print/video Inspection: Teched Blue Bayou and Cry Macho playlists, both are all set.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, updated with tech info for Bayou and Macho and with info for titles now pending on the Deluxe portal.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes.

Marquee updated?: Put up The Eyes of Tammy Faye on the front of the marquee.

Posters updated?: Moved Tammy Faye and Cry Macho posters outside and brought No Time to Die in to the lobby, and put up the new Venom poster in the other lobby case.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
