NPP Projection Report 9/21


To do this evening/ was completed: Manual starts in Theater 7.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a new Adult trailer pack for 9/30, and made new first run show playlists for R features.

Built The Nowhere Inn playlist.

Scheduled everything for 9/24-30 except Son of the White Mare, Titane, and Venom 2.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Trivia in Hi-Res. I went over the cable and projector setup with Jack and left the cables by the pew right next to the wall XLR inputs.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested The Nowhere Inn from Eclair.

Reached out to Deluxe about Dear Evan Hansen keys, they said they should be releasing tonight.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Boyz n the Hood playlist, and also looked at the feature with Desmond. It's all set for tomorrow night.

Looked at the Son of the White Mare DCP with Cristina, it looked/sounded good however I had the non-subtitled version. I've ingested the subtitled version and built the playlist, will give it a full tech next admin.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, tech info for Boyz n the Hood, details for Nowhere Inn added.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Built cues for 9/24-9/30, just missing credit timing for content not yet received.

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?: Swapped the No Time to Die poster in the lobby for Titane.

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projectors off for the night?:

Projection cart by TH5?:

Additional Notes: The amplifiers for the house music in 4/6 are acting up. When the music came on a 2 today it was really quiet, I tried turning everything on and off, switching inputs changing cables, but nothing helped so I boosted the volume, then later got a call that it was blaring loud and I turned it back to the normal volume.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
