NPP Projection Report 9/22


To do this evening/ was completed: Please keep up with the blogs for your closing shifts especially when there are special events. If you're logged in to Blogger with the prospectparkkdm gmail you should be able to access the projection blog and make posts.

Please delete the Blue Bayou and Boyz N the Hood playlists and feature CPLs from Theater 3's server as soon as tonight's screenings end. They are not playing again in this house after tonight and the server is getting full.

Last round Card Counter in Theater 7 is a manual start.

After the last round starts tonight, add Dear Evan Hansen to the front of the marquee and put a now showing snipe above its poster. I pulled out the marquee letters, they're on the wood shelf in 3/7. Also take down Boyz n the Hood from the 14th street side and put up “Brunch Screening / Bottle Rocket / Sat & Sun 10/2-3”

Special Events/ AV set up: NewFest was shooting intros for virtual screenings in Theater 2. They used preshow lighting and had a logo on screen, no other projection involved.

Also chatted with Kim from NewFest about delivery of DCPs and ProRes files for shorts and features. We should start to receive some of this content soon and, since there is a rather high volume of content for this fest, anything we get should be converted to DCP (if necessary), ingested, and teched (if unencrypted) right away, even if we have to delete it to save space on servers until it's needed for screening. I will keep projection updated regarding any content deliveries for this festival.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Forgot to mention yesterday, ordered The Nowhere Inn, King Richard, and Dune posters through IMoxie. Unfortunately the only shipping option available for Nowhere Inn was Fedex Ground.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Got keys for Dear Evan Hansen but they do not activate until tonight at midnight, so this will have to be teched during admin tomorrow.

Titane is not available to order through Eclair yet, nor is Venom 2 showing up on our Deluxe portal. Will keep an eye on these and share tracking/download info when available.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):  Deleted the Card Counter feature CPL from screen 3 since the server is very full and this doesn't screen in there until next Thursday. TMS should automatically ingest the feature to screen 3 closer to the screening date, but I will keep an eye on it and make sure it's loaded a few days beforehand.

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Nowhere Inn and Son of the White Mare playlists and added lighting cues for credits. These are all set.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, tech/tracking info added.

Maintenance/cleaning: Theater 4 got very warm this afternoon and caused the port glass to fog up. I took it out and wiped it down and also cleaned with Windex. The projector lens was a bit foggy too so I wiped that and cleaned it with the lens cleaner.

Changed two dead ceiling light bulbs in Theater 3.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, updated timing for Nowhere Inn and Son of the White Mare.

Projection Admin 7/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
