To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: The second round screening of No Time to Die was cancelled due to a storage issue. The feature played for 5 minutes then something happened that caused the server to lose the DCP entirely. This was really baffling, all other content was showing on the server except No Time to Die, and this was definitely loaded on the server as it played in there earlier this week and I checked today’s schedules last night and this afternoon. The server was very full, but not entirely and as I said the feature had been loaded on there for a while, so my guess is this could be an issue with the storage health, we will have to have DMS check the RAID drives.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Addams Family with intro for Saturday.

Built and scheduled staff screening playlists for tomorrow.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Night of the Living Dead with live score by Morricone Youth in Theater 1. This went smoothly and the band sounded great.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received the print of The Ring

Outgoing/Shipping (content): I missed FedEx so I didn’t get to hand off the Gothika print to them, I will schedule a pickup.

Print/video Inspection: Inspected the print of The Ring and the first three reels of Dogtown & Z-Boys. Both are in very good condition. Dogtown is printed for 1.85 lenses however it is 1.37 pillarboxed.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
