NPP Projection Report 11/19 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Transfer the Once Upon a Time in China DCPs to the DCPII drive when they finish downloading, ingest the first film to the Theater 2 IMS server.

Transfer the Soul Food DCP to the iMac desktop when the OUATIC download finishes and upload it to my Google Drive.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Still haven't had a chance to download preshows and transitionals from Dropbox as the hard drive was in use for the Once Upon a Time in China download, and attempting to do anything with other files on the drive slows the download almost to a halt.

Trailer Updates: Added trailers to the Barb and Star and Another Round playlists. Please be sure to include trailers when building playlists, you can use other playlists as a guide for what to include and adjust based on what you think is appropriate until we get trailer assignments. These shows had 9 minutes of trailers listed on the cue sheets, but the playlists that were scheduled had the feature starting right after the preshow, at 30 minutes, so the end times were off. If you leave a playlist incomplete don't schedule it or put the credit times in the cue sheets because it will just have to be changed when the playlist is completed.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested keys for Once Upon a Time in China 1 & 2. There are two sets of keys, one which activates tonight at 12am and expires Sunday night, and another which activates Saturday night at midnight and expires 11/30, so we're good for teching the first one tomorrow morning and for both screenings.

Got the Universal Holiday combo drive and ingested Love Actually to Theater 1. This drive also has How the Grinch Stole Christmas which screens in December so we'll hold onto it until then.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Brought our outgoing drives to the UPS store.

Turns out I hadn't confirmed the pickup of Never Talk to Strangers, I let them know it's ready and am waiting to hear back about when they'll send someone to pick it up.

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Barb & Star and Another Round playlists, both are all set. The container for the Another Round DCP is scope, however the ratio is 2.00:1 so I removed the Scope lens/masking change pack and added some black with cues to change the projector to the scope input and the masking to the 2:1 setting.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes

Maintenance/cleaning: Ordered another bulb for the Theater 2 Christie, the current one will go over warranty hours in the next few days.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, checked over cues and schedule for the weekend, they are set except for the Once Upon a Time in China timing which will be added once it's been teched.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
