NPP Projection Report 11/3 Open/Event


To do this evening/ was completed: Keep downloading the VHS Vault stuff.

Marquee and poster changes—Eternals and Spencer can go up on the front and Last Duel and Harder They Fall can come down. Same for their posters. Swap Dogtown for Foxy Brown on the 15th street side.

Delete The Harder They Fall after the last show tonight, ingest Eternals to Theater 6 from the TMS.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Removed the 10/22 forecast from all playlists since we haven’t got a new one for two weeks and this one is pretty much completely outdated at this point.

Built and scheduled the Ammonite playlist.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The Dogtown & Z-Boys screening in Theater 1 went smoothly. Jack projected the print pretty much on his own (I did the first changeover so he could look at the cues but that’s about it) and he did a great job! I think he’s ready to project 35 on his own now. We also recorded the Q&A, we got the camera all set up during the short but accidentally didn’t get the recording started until about a minute after the Q&A began.

Brought the spotlight control board into Theater 1 from
the booth for Spoons tomorrow. Tomorrow night you just need to bring one more mic and the HDMI adapter in, otherwise it’s all there already.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Ammonite to Theater 3 from Eclair.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Handed off some outgoing drives to UPS.

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Eternals and Spencer playlists. Both are looking/sounding good.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added tracking for Planes Trains and Automobiles, it should be here on Friday.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, added timing for Ammonite this weekend.

Marquee updated?:

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
