To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a playlist for the Shouting at the Screen preshow and scheduled it for tonight.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Pre-set most of the equipment for Shouting at the Screen. Left the PA speakers on their stands on either side of the screen behind the curtains. Ran an extension cord from the outlet behind the curtain on the right side of the screen over to the speaker on the left and taped it down. Have XLRs for both speakers connected to the mixer, and three very long XLR cables for each mic which will extend to their three seats in the back row. Set the mic levels but the hosts may want to do a quick check before the theater opens. The converter for the laptop to projector connection is ready to go as well, and there’s a spare laptop which will be used during the show to adjust the volume, and play a YouTube clip after the film. Went over all the different components with Jack, should go smoothly tonight.

Set up the turntables for the DJ tonight, everything is connected and Cristina will make sure the DJ brings needles.

Print/video Inspection: Finished inspecting Blade, last two reels were in great condition.

Maintenance/cleaning: Installed the new hard drive for our Eclair server. Max remotely updated the software and loaded a test DCP to the server. It didn’t show up when I scanned for it, I let Max know and I’m waiting to hear back.

We received the new AC interlock and radiator filters from DMS. I looked at the interlock on the Theater 1 projector to see if I could replace it, but I didn’t see how it should be removed so I didn’t want to risk it. They were planning on replacing it for us during a service call, anyway.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
