NPP Projection Report 6/3 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Make sure the Be Gay Do Crime preshow and Dog Day Afternoon intro slide ingest to Theater 1, it’s scheduled but a lot of preshow clips are ingesting to the IMS servers.

Ingest Jurassic World to all servers.

If all other ingests finish with enough time, re-ingest RRR to Theater 2.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded and ingested the Be Gay Do Crime preshow and Mubi trailer to the TMS.

Built and scheduled the Dog Day Afternoon and Beyond the Black Rainbow preshow playlists.

Checked through all three of this week’s trailer packs for volume levels. The Desert Hearts trailer is cued to play at 3.5 and I added a cue for the Nitehawk Diaries trailer to play at 3.8.

Ingested several generic and first run preshows to the IMS servers.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Another screening has been added for RRR on the 15th. I was already ingesting preshows to the IMS servers, and with shows playing and multiple ingests running these were going pretty slowly. Once these are done and Jurassic World has been transferred to 2, RRR can be reingested to 2.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): The Jurassic World drive came, ingested it to TMS.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Crimes of the Future playlist. Preshow and feature look and sound good. The feature sounded better at 5.5 so I changed the volume cue at the start of the feature to that.

Inspected the Gremlins 2 print. It’s in good condition, certainly screenable, though it’s slightly warped and has a faint vinegar smell. Other than that, scratching is mild but definitely present, especially at the beginning and end of reels, and there was a small amount of footage taken out of the end of the third reel, including the changeover cue. Grease cues had already been added to this reel.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, updated Crimes of the Future and added info for Lightyear, which is pending on Deluxe.

Maintenance/cleaning: Cleaned and placed the Theater 4 port glass back into the frame.

Moved folding tables from Spoons to the hallway by the director’s chairs and the rolling tables behind the curtain in Theater 2. Brought the spotlight board back to booth 1 and reconnected the wireless mics to the processor.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):

Marquee updated?: Added Crimes of the Future to the front.

Posters updated?: Took down Downton Abbey and moved Crimes of the Future outside. Hung Elvis in the lobby. Jurassic World posters haven’t arrived yet, once they do we can replace Elvis in the lobby.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
