Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a playlist for the Reverend screening. The slide for the intro/performance and Q&A hasn’t been confirmed, but I put the Brooklyn Vegan in for now. Will also need to confirm the setup for the performance with John so I can prep it as much as possible as I won’t be here on Tuesday. From the looks of it he’ll be playing keyboard and singing, so it shouldn’t be too complicated.

Added the Buffet tip PSA to next week’s first run playlists. The Grill one from this week was left in them.

Print/video Inspection: Looked at some of the first reel of The Iron Giant, the digital soundtrack was fairly damaged, this would have been why processor fell back on the analog track during the screening today. For tomorrow, select Dolby SR on the processor instead of Dolby Digital before the show. I also checked the head leader splice on reel 3. There was some distance between the frames as the splice was taped together. I removed the tape that was there and re-taped it without any distance, so the picture won’t be out of frame at the start of reel 3 of the countdown is framed normally.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
