NPP Projection Admin 9/27



To do this evening/ was completed: Took a look at Moonage Daydream in T2. Switched over to the 1.78 lens file and adjusted masking. This is the proper presentation for the film--playlists have been updated. Made playlists for Off The Charts and In The Mouth of Madness preshow. Converted and ingested the Best Friend's Exorcism slide--playlist updated. Added Triangle of Sadness to 9/30 R-rated trailer pack. Scheduled all first runs in TMS for the coming week aside from Amsterdam, started updating the cue sheet. Removed Thirst and other concluded special events playlists from TMS. Ingested Beetlejuice trailer.

Presentation Issues: Teched Before the Devil Knows You're Dead in T3 and noticed a crackling and buzzing coming from the left rear surround speaker. Checked it again with Alec and ultimately it's pretty minor at the moment, but could likely worsen as time goes on, so a replacement will have to be ordered at some point.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
