To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded and ingested the Kevin Geeks Out preshow.

Built playlists for Kevin Geeks Out and Body Double.

Downloaded the preshow clips for the screening tomorrow to ingested them to Th4.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Proud Family short again for tonight. Decided it looked best with the 1.85 lens macro and the 1.78 masking, so I updated the playlist.

Broke down the turntables in Trees from last night.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a trailer for I Wanna Dance With Somebody on a thumb drive.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received Body Double on a drive. Ingested it to Th1.

Zodiac print arrived, brought it to booth 1.

Contacted Deluxe about the Stardust DCP. They said the drive is shipping out today for delivery Friday.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Put House of 1000 Corpses on the cart and held off on scheduling a pickup in case FedEx picked it up when they dropped off Zodiac, which they did.

Print/video Inspection: Began inspecting Mars Attacks to tech screen with Desmond today. I inspected the first two reels, and projected a bit of both. The print is presentable for sure, though a bit scratched, especially at heads/tails. Reel 2 has consistent light to moderate base scratches which are visible. Print overall looked and sounded good. Volume level noted.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added info for Blonde, which is pending on Deluxe.

Maintenance/cleaning: Received the shipment of cotton gloves and paper tape.

I talked to Juan about replacing the speakers in Th3 and explained what we need to do. We’re going to do it first thing tomorrow.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Scheduled movies or  for Saturday through Monday and filled in cue sheets.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
