To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Converted the Last Seduction slide to DCP, built and scheduled the playlist.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Rugrats Movie, In a Lonely Place, and My Best Friend’s Exorcism came on drives. Ingested In a Lonely Place to Theater 3 and Rugrats and Exorcism to Theater 4.

Downloaded the Ham on Rye DCP to the hard drive, can get ingested to Theater 3.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): TMS and IMS servers we getting pretty full with all the first runs this week and the three opening on Thursday. So I cleared everything that’s closing on Friday from the screens they won’t be showing on over the next few days.

Bebe’s Kids print got picked up.

Lillian and I walked the outgoing drives to the UPS store, packed up more for return after getting the film schedule, all the titles that are closing on Friday.

Print/video Inspection: Checked through the Body Double playlist, it’s all set.

Cristina looked at the Sugar Hill DCP for the Shouting at the Screen next month. It looked and sounded good. Wrote down info from the tech in the asset doc.

Also projected a bit of The Last Seduction, it looks/sounds good.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, updated Sugar Hill and Ham on Rye entries.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in cues for The Last Seduction.

Marquee updated?: Put up Thirst.

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projection cart by entrance?: Yes

Additional Notes: Lillian had her first training shift today. We went over building and scheduling playlists, making cue sheets, changing the marquee, certain AV capabilities in the theaters (I showed her the setup for Spoons, which includes a lot of basic special event AV stuff like wired mics and HDMI from the stage, and in the process covered the wireless mics and spots) and in Trees, she was there when I QC’d the print on Theater 1 and the DCP in Theater 2. I also briefly showed her the 35mm projectors in Theater 4, showed her the keys for changing posters, opened up one of the Christies to describe changing lamps, and various other things around the booths (breakers, supplies, etc.). Tomorrow we’ll work on the cue sheets and schedule for the week, run some film, and go over more AV setups.
