NPP Projection Report 9/20 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Hot Fuzz keys open tomorrow morning, please tech the playlist during the admin shift.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built In a Lonely Place and Rugrats playlists.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: I showed Lillian the turntables and went over a few more details about the AV setup in Trees.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for Bros, Black Adam, and another one for The Woman King.

Ordering/Receiving (content):

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added Real Women Have Curves (screening 11/1), with a note that we have to circuit it to another theater for delivery by 11/4.

Maintenance/cleaning: Lillian also practiced threading and ran film on both projectors in Theater 1. She also had some really good maintenance tips such as replacing the pads for the tension plates on the feed and take-up spindles on the projectors and the feed spindle on the rewind bench, and getting new take up belts for the projectors which are less prone to breaking.

I printed out a list of logins and passwords and posted it on the wall by the iMac in 4/6.

Started list of daily projection tasks, both ones for everyday during admin and closing shifts and ones specific to certain days of the week.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Lillian built the cue sheets and schedule for the week. A few special events still need to be filled in (Thirst, Off the Charts, and Zodiac). She also had some practice building playlists (Rugrats and In a Lonely Place, as well as first run and trailer packs).

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
