Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the Ham on Rye playlist.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: I checked the trivia setup again, the Mic 1 input works but goes to the speaker across the bar from where the trivia hosts set up, so it’s hard to hear with the bar full and music playing, it’s also just better to have their voices coming from the speaker directly behind them. I also checked the levels, the gain for both inputs was a bit high, so I turned it down and set the levels from there with a video playing on the laptop, and speaking into the microphone. I’ve written this all down for next time.

Lillian set up the mic for the intro in Th3 tonight, and she and McKegg went down for the intro. Apparently, the cue to pause the slide didn’t work, despite being in the right place, and the mic turned off during the intro and Cristina finished her intro without it. Lillian will look into this tomorrow.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Started downloading and converting more shorts for NewFest. All video files/DCPs are downloaded for the “Experiments on Existence” program are downloaded (except for one which the link didn’t work for), and started “All the World’s a Stage.” Video files which still need to be converted to DCP are in the NewFest 2022 folder on the iMac desktop, DCPs are on the hard drive. Both folders are organized by shorts program.

Ingested Ham on Rye to the TMS and sent it to Theater 3.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): The Last Seduction was picked up.

Print/video Inspection: Checked Ham on Rye DCP for volume and credits, and to set the 1.66 masking.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: I found a new USB to mini B cable and tried using it to power to HDMI to AV converter, but I was still getting no signal to the screens. Everything else was connected and plugged into power, so we might need a new converter. I found one on Amazon which I’ll get ordered.

Projection Admin 7/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
