NPP Projection Report 9/9 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed: Ingested See How They Run feature content from EclairPlay and transferred it to all servers except theater 4 (the TMS would not allow me to start this transfer for some reason and was unable to even after the system was rebooted) and removed The Invitation from the TMS and its corresponding servers; downloaded and ingested all available pre-show content from the shared drive

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built show playlists and updated trailer packs for all first run titles excluding The Woman King (whose feature content we have yet to receive); See How They Run show playlist has a generic pre-show element in it that will need to be swapped out for the "PS_FR_SeeHowTheyRun" file once it is uploaded

Print/video Inspection: Tested all new first run playlists in theater 1 (Barbarian has a sequence toward the end of the film where the aspect ratio shifts to what looks like 1.33:1, there are some subtitles briefly at the end of Medieval, and the volume for Funny Pages had to be turned up as the center channel sounded very low at 5.0)

QC'd the Hong Kong trailers and the first reels of High Risk and House of 1000 Corpses with Cristina (the latter is in really great condition; some image bleed at the top of the screen during both films which could easily be fixed with some tape on the port glass)

QC'd the first reel of Bebe's Kids with Desmond in theater 4 (the print is a bit scratched throughout but otherwise it looks and sounds fine) and fitted the projectors with 1.85:1 plates and lenses for this screening

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
