NPP Projection Admin 10/11

To do this evening/ was completed: Teched Nocebo in T2. Picture and sound are good to go but the masking is a little ambiguous. The picture looks best in the 1.66 macro, it's pillarboxed and keystoned a bit in 1.78 and 1.85. However, the 1.66 masking results in significant bleed on the side curtains, so we'll have to tech further. Credits have been noted. Was unable to tech Triangle of Sadness in T3 as the keys don't become active until tomorrow. They will then expire Thursday at midnight so we'll need to ingest a new set of KDMs.

Removed Cabin in the Woods content from TMS/T1.

Set up mic and mixer in T4 for Candyman tonight.

Downloaded and ingested Queer New Class slides and teaser videos that were passed along by Desmond today. Ingested to T1. For the slides, I added a two second fade in and fade out when making the DCPs but in the preview window the fade in did not seem to last a full two seconds. In my opinion this is no issue, because there still is a fade in. Also the Queer New Class Yearbook videos feature no sound--Desmond says NewFest will be running their own preshow music playlist from an external source. Desmond also asked if we could incorporate these slides/yearbook videos into the NewFest slideshow that will function as their preshow.

Teched A Very Trans Time program and Unidentified Objects feature in T2. All specs have been noted and I will circulate an email detailing everything we need to know when building playlists. 

Teched Before I Change My Mind feature in T3. The DCP is listed as CCAP but the file is actually OCAP. There's another DCP on the server as well, that features no captions. We teched Lollygag again, which features no technical info in the DCP name. It appears to be a 1.33 aspect ratio with a slight keystoning look on screen. Image and sound were good though. Ahu's Journal is good to go--captions appear when they should. My Trip to Spain was not inspected because the ingest failed yesterday, so it will have to be looked at tomorrow. The sound mix for Her: A Micro Series consistently features noticeable crackling during scenes that feature music.

Downloaded, converted and locally ingested (T1) various Netflix teaser clips for Wendell and Wild, Big Mouth and Dead End. It turns out Netflix will only be using the Assassin clip for Wendell and Wild, the other two can be removed from TMS/T1.

I had no time to start making new playlists/scheduling content. Nocebo needs a playlist as well.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Waiting for Guffman and The Woman Chaser arrived on 35mm, brought both prints to T1. The second can of Beetlejuice arrived. I couldn't locate the first can so I reached out to John W and he informed that the other half of the shipment has been delayed, should arrive by EOD tomorrow.
