NPP Projection Admin 11/21 - Jack



To do this evening/ was completed: Transferred HBO content to T1 and teched the Gossip Girl episode, as well as the attached trailers (SLOCG, We're Here, Sort). All four items should be played with the 220 Flat lens file (T1). Masking -- 2:20:1. Volume and credits have been logged.

Tested the Ratatouille blu-ray afterward. Ended up pulling the HDMI connected to the AJA on the back of the rack and attaching it to the blu-ray player. I'll re-attach to the converter after the screening. Also took the RCA cables that are attached to the player and attached them to the Nonsync input on the 750. Seemingly was only getting sound from the L/R speakers, but the surrounds showed signs of life eventually. Had to crank the sound to 10 to get a decent volume. Should be good to go tomorrow.

Attempted to tech the new first runs that open tomorrow but keys don't go live until midnight--will tech tomorrow.

Set up a cable connection in Trees through the overhead projector. All I needed--that wasn't in place already--was an Ethernet cable to attach to the AJA and the Ethernet input on the wall rack behind the cable box, which is labeled "DJ 1" (row 3). There's a very helpful diagram that shows the connection paths you'd need for various setups. It's next to the dolly cart. I couldn't find a cable in 4/6 so I ended up taking the blue one that lives beneath the screen in T1, so we'll either have to find another cable or simply put this one back when Spoons comes around. Oddly, when I initially switched to "digital link" on the projector, I couldn't get an image. It remained that way for a while, but eventually it came through on its own. Then later on, as I brought the screen down, I lost picture for a second, but it returned quickly. Thanks to Alec for helping me with this.

Ran test loops in T4 for The Hidden tonight--frame and focus are set.

Ingested the Infinity Pool trailer (from Google Drive, not the DCP/Flash drive versions) and attached it to the 11/23 R-rated pack.

Uploaded Black Adam keys.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
