NPP Projection Report Tues. 12/13 Close


To do this evening/ was completed: Hi everyone, please add inspection forms to Google Drive as the print is being inspected. It should be on there before the first screening in case we need to share any info about the print with projectionists and cinema.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added credit offset cues to both brunch playlists for this weekend. The offset information is almost always included on the ingest letter attached to the email notifying us that the feature is ready to ingest.

Ingested the Spiderverse trailer and added it to Pinocchio and Strange World playlists.

I think this might have been the Pinocchio playlist, but something had lights down at 35 minutes and 5 minutes of trailers. It was definitely a PG, and I know we often don't have many all ages trailers so just check the preshow content sheet or ask Kat if something isn't timing out right and you've built it exactly according to the list.

Ingested The Whale 15min and 25min preshows.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Received some more mics and XLR cables. I put velcro ties on all the cables, and will distribute them throughout the theaters. Still waiting on a few extra long cables for Theater 2.

Started a visual guide for programming the spotlights.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested the 7.1 CCAP and OCAP versions of The Whale to Theater 3. This is 1.33 also so going to need to check the macro and masking, at the very least in Theater 3.

Ingested keys for all first run features that needed them for next week, except Violent Night, which we still need new keys for. Need keys for The Whale and Puss in Boots, too.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Cleared a bit of space on the TMS by deleting some old preshows, and features which were already ingested to every IMS server.

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added upcoming first run titles.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Finished cues and scheduling, including OCAP screenings.

Marquee updated?:

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
