To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all, so I changed the microswitches in (T1) Kelmar bench. Took a hot minute to really adjust the main screw. Pictures below. Fourth photo is of the new switches, which have small plug fixtures that connect to the variac. That old electrical tape was on its last legs. I'll get us some to have around the booth since, from what I could see, there is none. Anyway, please continue checking the TMS for any manual starts, tight turnarounds or accessibility needs. Check in with the Event Calendar to see what happenings might have your name attached to it. 


 

 





Presentation Issues: No presentation issues! 

Preshow Clips/Playlist: SE for Lyle Lyle can get built (see below in Special Events) and can be scheduled on the TMS accordingly. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Took a chair out of T5, put it back safe n sound.

Confirmed to Chenelle that we received the DVD for the rental on 1/2. They've requested 15 min of preshow (kid friendly, please). This playlist can get built!

Maintenance/cleaning: I found a great manual for the variable speed apparatuses that are attached to the Simplex machines in T2, which I've spent a good deal of today reading about. I'm trying to develop the best way in which to move them to a different pair of projectors. They could be of great service to us in the future.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
