Projection Close 1/22

To do this evening/ was completed: Started to properly get back to folks who've reached out with an interest in projecting here. We are, of course, not hiring at the moment, but we'll keep stock of the CVs for future reference.

Presentation Issues: This didn't really pose an issue since I caught it before anyone had shown up for preshow, but T2 had immediately queued up and started to play the playlist it had just finished playing--sorry, bit of a mouthful, but this is because the playback settings had--for whatever reason--been changed to 'play then rewind.' This has tripped me up in the past when putting logos on loop for special events and then simply forgetting to change it back. Make sure the playback settings are set to 'play then eject.' I checked every theatre's IMS to make sure the settings were correct.
If you're unfamiliar with this, here's what it looks like on the IMS:

...and here's what it looks like when using the IMS3000 in T7: First, go to playback and click the 'playback mode' option in the bottom left corner.

Then make sure you choose the correct setting! That's it.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Escape from New York ingested into T1. I brought the CRU drive back up.

Got a tip from MOD that RRR sounded a bit too loud and that some patrons looked a bit queasy, so I checked the playlist first and it was at 4.2 instead of the agreed upon volume, 4.0, which actually makes a huge difference since the mix is so sensitive. I quickly brought it down and changed the playlist.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Snagged the DJ cables from Trees and put them all safely back in 4/6.

Put the 8:15 game on in Trees. Brought the screen back up and turned the projector off afterwards. The key to the AV box is back in the supplies box in the storage closet in Trees.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Reached out to DMS and Dolby so that we can get info/tracking for the new IMS. The good news is that they (DMS) don't actually need to come snag the 3000 from us after the weekend, as it sounded. We can have it for a bit longer until the permanent one shows up.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Similarly to Alec, I put the rest of the trailers on cores and labeled them ac(core)dingly.

I cleaned the projectors in T1. They're prepped for tomorrow's screening.

13 Going on 30 trailer I'll be taking a look at myself on Monday morning, which is why it's still out on a house reel.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projection cart by entrance?:
