NPP Projection Close 6/22



To do this evening/ was completed: Spent some time going through the past two weeks' blog entries and emails--catching up on everything. T6 ingest issues noted--T2 lamp sensor issue noted. Also spent some time looking over the threaded platter setup in T1. Threading should be easy enough but am looking forward to getting some live training in.

Presentation Issues: Rounds two and three did not start as automated in T1. Playlist paused itself at the 00:00:00.

Special Events/ AV set up: Multiple Maniacs Intros + live performances went very smoothly. We did a test run before opening the theater and I was not able to hear any audio from the mic input through the QSC. I was able to hear audio through every other input however. Because I couldn't really hear the intros I had Desmond walkie me during certain transitions--ended up working well. Mic brought back up to the booth after the screening.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
