NPP Projection Report 6/28 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Kept an eye on theaters 1, 2, and 6 for manual starts and/or server pauses throughout the evening; one manual start in T2 was scheduled on the cue sheets + T6 did not start its final round as scheduled and was delayed a couple minutes while I manually loaded the playlist

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up karaoke at Trees Lounge around 7PM and got everything started on schedule; Eliel pointed out to me that the HDMI audio connection was wired behind the bench beneath the screen so we used that this evening to eliminate the extra cabling to the XLR splitter and 1/8" cable

The mixer in T4 needed to be set up before the Alien from L.A. screening began; I tested the spotlights and noticed the one to the left hand side (when facing the audience) was not working and will need its batteries changed -- there was no time to do so before the pre-show started -- and let Cristina know to use the one to her right only

Alien from L.A. screening went very smoothly (as did Cristina's intro) and the picture and sound were top quality throughout; I re-inspected the print and placed each reel back onto its shipping reel

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
