Projection Admin 7/27



To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled all of the TMS (apart from The Meg) for the week of 7/28 - 8/3. 

Presentation Issues: Spent almost the entire morning figuring out why the hdmi connection wouldn't work in T2 for Shouting at the Screen this morning. I tried just about everything under the sun, including different settings on the projector, adapters, Ajas, cables, etc. Eventually, when I finally got both T1 Aja's situated in the T2 booth/auditorium, we were already opening., so I wasn't able to try that last option. I decided to make a video (that is now a DCP) of the PowerPoint presentation, exporting it out with each slide getting 6 seconds of time before it advances to the next, so we'll be able to pause on each slide. Hosts can still cue us as we'll be able to hear them in the booth. DCP is in the playlist. Will and Cristina are aware. 

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Got volume and double checked credits info for Talk To Me, which sounds much louder at 5.0 in a smaller auditorium, but some of the overall dialogue is quiet. Loud music/not as loud dialogue. 
Staff screening was a good test run today. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up the PA ~ external speakers/tripod stands, mixer. Set up the xlrs, leaving the cables connected to the mixer and strung along the bannister. Microphones are off to the side on the stage, ready to get plugged in once the hosts are ready. 
I set the volume of Black Samson to 4.0, which seems like a good volume for the event. 

Threaded up and started the run of our last 35mm show of Oppenheimer in T1. I'll miss having it in there. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): The DCP of Actual People for NoBudge, finished downloaded to the drive. I ingested this. 

Ingested Generic Crime preshow for At Close Range

Outgoing/Shipping (content): John is on it with Sony for the Runaway pickup. 

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Cleaned the projector and platter in T1 before the show. Gave it a sweep. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Double checked today and filled in tomorrow's cue sheet. Went through and highlighted all manual starts for 7/28 - 8/3. Filled out Saturday apart from ET.
