To do this evening/ was completed: Big, big maintenance day.

**Reel one of Viva inspected for tech tomorrow.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist:

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Got the credits/volume info for Cliffhanger this morning.

Noticed we didn't have this, so I made the DCP for brief preshow segment for Material Issue. It's less than a minute. At the end of preshow before the intro. Jack and I set up for the Music Video Afterparty.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received the print of Viva today.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Where to begin! I'll keep this short since the emails are longer.

I swapped the power supply units in T4. P2's OG supply unit is now in P1. Suited and booted everything up, was able to test the lamp and make a few rearrangements. It's nice and bright. I brought down the voltage since you don't have to run a new lamp as high. Ran loops to check focus.

Got T6 up and mostly running. P2 is blocked by the TG digital server on the cabinet and we'll need to properly move and rearrange this area in order to properly access the projector and not tamper with the server cables. The good news: I had the lamps on for a reasonable amount of time (both) to make sure they're stable, but I ran film on P1. The image looks good and operationally, everything is pretty functional. When both projectors are on (and especiallllllly when the motor is on) there is an excess amount of oil. Simplexes are kind of known for kind of giving themselves a bath and they're actually supposed to leak by design, but this was intense and definitely not normal. First, we just don't run film on these basically ever, so that makes them dirty, a little congealed, and there's far too much oil in each projector. A little leak by the fly wheel every now and again is fine, but a small pool on the floor is bad. It's also okay if there's a little bit of oil by the intermittent sprocket, framing knob/seal, shafts, the door seal on the opposite side along with the drive shaft. We might need to replace some seals/check a gasket or two. For tomorrow, please make sure Roger checks this out. This is serious. Like, I'm really not trying to get dramatic here, but we really don't want oil spilling out onto prints. I am not available to come in tomorrow and we might need some overlap for Lethal Weapon 4 tomorrow since we've already moved everything into T6.

I'd like to have a copy of the manual for the lamphouses in T6 (spent some time talking to this guy, Mark, a projectionist pal who has a lead on the guy that has an actual copy of it because they are impossible to track down. These aren't so common. Someone else on the forum reached out about it and got a reply from Mark which is why I contacted him in the first place. He's worked with these models before).

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Updated the cue sheets for tomorrow (changes with T4/T6). Made sure the notes for Cliffhanger were marked as resolved today before opening.
