Alec Notes:

I set up our new HDMI over ethernet extenders in Theaters 2 and 3 and they should remain there for good. I need to make a couple adjustments to the setups (which will mostly be after I setup the webcams) but there should be no issue connecting a laptop at the stage to the projector. Tested image and sound in both and they're fine. For Theater 2, I'm using one of the DVI ports so I had to use an HDMI audio extractor for sound, this is going into the Non-Sync input (again this might change, but for the time being this is where you'll get sound from a laptop on stage). For 3, sound goes through the Digital 1 input (but the blu-ray channel on the projector will need to be selected to get sound.

I sealed the motor cover on P1 in Th6. Don't run this motor before the day Friday.

Tried working on Dolby Digital for P1 in Th6, but no luck. I tried a different cable which I pulled from Th2. This isn't urgent at all as we'll never not have the backup option of SR and Th6 is already a backup house for 35mm as it is.

Roger is coming with a new power supply for Theater 4 tomorrow. DMS is also sending someone with a backup/replacement server for Theater 3. I'll be here in the morning to let them in and assist if need be.

To do this evening/ was completed: (Lillian notes, onward)  Hey team, thank you for adjusting to all the changes we've made within the past few days. I appreciate you all very much. Alec did an amazing job of moving the server around in T6 (and my assumption is Jack helped) so thanks, boss. The setup really works and it's more open. Nice to see T6 like this.

A note on what happened the other night with Trivia: on Monday, the levels on the panel in Trees had been turned down (A/B) for an event that evening. Everything was suspiciously loud. Alec was also having trouble with sound, too. My first thought was that they weren't brought back up to their regular position after that event, so I checked this morning and brought them up. The volume on the projector was also completely down (which might've been from a meeting). I setup the laptop to test sound and we're all good. I marked the levels on the panel so you can see where they should be, and in addition to this, it seems as though we shouldn't exceed 15 (maybe 16ish) volume wise on the projector for most files before the bass really starts to kick in.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist:

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Got the BluRay for Rush Hour from MOD today. Put it through MakeMKV. Will put it through Handbrake. This should be good for DCP-o-matic tomorrow.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested a load of keys. Blue Beetle opens up tomorrow morning, so we can tech it then. Reached out about the keys for Talk To Me - they'll come through this evening.

Ingested Gran Turismo, both CCAP and OCAP.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Packaged up Lethal Weapon 4. This got picked up by FedEx.

Print/video Inspection: Viva inspection is complete. Color is fantastic. This should be a very fun show. Film came on some kinda crappy shipping reels and some of the head leader on a few is not so great (some was spilling in the cans), but that's the worst of it. Not a real issue. All fine on house reels.

Maintenance/cleaning: Threaded up Oppenheimer in T4 now that we're back with 35mm in there. Print is running great! The new lamp is working very well. Image is much brighter, much more clear. I wiped down the port glass.

Consulted with a tech who used to repair loads of power supply units and he told me there's not much luck with these nowadays with finding the right parts, but I'm still holding out on eBay having something of use so that if we ever need a spare, we've got one. I opened up the busted PS and it's rough. The red lights on ours indicated that when the lamp wouldn't strike, it was because a fuse on one or multiple primary boards had opened up and that the AC voltage was not within the correct range. This is good to know, though. Super grateful Roger has more of these and that we live in NYC, where it's easier to get this stuff.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes.

Posters updated?: Please do not move the poster container by the main rack in the booth. Posters inside are for two staff members! Thanks!
