Projection Admin 12/22 Lillian & Alec

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Funny day wheelin n dealin with aspect ratio business (see notes below) but I spent a good amount of time resetting some of our main (but not often used) automation cues for the masking in T1 since some had been swapped since It's A Wonderful Life was not entirely flush. This looks a helluva lot better now and should be an excellent show. I went through the playlist and each automation cue for the masking and everything's looking real good. I also wound up adjusting the lamp's axis ever so slightly to make it more center. This helped a lot.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): When Harry Met Sally ingested!

Today we received the following prints: Sundays on Fire feature & The Godfather Pt.II

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Cobra got picked up today.

Print/video Inspection: Ran The Wizard of Oz and Mean Streets with Desmond. Everything looked good. Volume noted. Note: Alec provided some info about this print in a previous blog, but just make sure that if you're projecting this you're using the 1.85 lenses. He put this info on the white card, so you shouldn't miss it, but it's one of those re-issued prints that's 1.37 in 1.85, so if you use the 1.37 lens, I can pretty much guarantee that you're gonna get a tiny lil box in the middle of the screen, so use 1.85. If you're curious as to why this is a thing, years n years ago (think 1980s) they started re-issuing prints like Wizard of Oz and Fantasia because multiplexes stopped using Academy lenses/plates. Bummer. I am going to spend a little more time making sure that the image looks super flush before the screening.

I put the Wizard of Oz on house reels so it's ready to go when the time comes.

I started inspecting The Godfather Pt.II. This can be worked on tonight. There's a lot of reels, so take your time. I've taken photos, which are on the drive, but we should take some more seeing as how there's still reels to inspect!
