NPP Projection Close 2/28

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Wireless mics in theater 2 were still configured for the Shouting at the Screen event earlier this month and had to be adjusted for the introduction to The Zone of Interest (there was also an improperly placed house lights down cue in this SPL which caused the auditorium to go dark during the pre-show -- I noticed this before the MODs alerted me to it and brought the lights up from the booth)

Special Events/ AV set up: Aside from the aforementioned trouble in theater 2, the private screening for The Zone of Interest went well, as did the Opening Nite screening for the NSF (the intro and Q&A for this event was recorded and saved to the desktop in booth 1 -- all mics were returned to the booths to charge)

Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected The Last Dragon and placed it back on its house reels

Maintenance/cleaning: One of the screws holding up the keyboard tray on the sound rack in booth 1 came loose -- the threading seems to be stripped -- and is now hanging at an angle (not sure if we have any parts to spare in the building/available for order)

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked against the TMS and website/initialed for confirmation (there was one missing SPL for Dune 2 in theater 1 -- seemed to be some confusion about a listing on the website)

Marquee updated?: Removed The Last Dragon and added letters for Pumping Iron II and Dune 2

Posters updated?: Added a "now showing" snipe above Dune 2

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by entrance?: Yes

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
